And have a can of 'penetration fluid' on your desk?

Er, yes. That's even stranger than it might at first appear. The lady who sits behind me returned from Wickes one lunchtime and said, "You like cars. I saw this in Wickes and bought it for you."

She's a lovely lady but even so, this extraordinary act of generosity registered a good solid 8 on the Surreal-O-Meter.

I've left it on my desk as a warning to all.

Untidy? You don't know the meaning of the word.

Trust me, that is an untidy desk by my standards - albeit not as bad as some on this thread.

Chaps,

Quick question... Are the days gone of being able to have a chat with the pilot mid flight in the cockpit?

Afraid so, those days are long gone. Post flight though, we are always up for cockpit visits.

Such as shame.. as a kid nothing was better.. I would love my 3 year old to be held back as he attempted to randomly poke buttons in the cockpit .. frown

We'd love it, too. It's a great shame.

I thoroughly enjoyed that job - and my desk was in the corner as you can see and overlooked either hills or a golf course. It was lovely in nice weather.

We're relocating at the end of July so I'll post a photo of my desk then.

In the meantime this is my new office being built.

We're going for the underground bunker look.

Why do you call her 'Custard'?
Because photographic evidence is no problem to her perhaps?
