We've been up for hours, Michael, contemplating a broad range of subjects over cups of tea. There's England versus the Iceland under 14s second eleven and the EU referendum debacle to name but two.

We haven't been idle.

I don't like football, I think there are a lot of overpaid, under performing primadonnas in the game yet I found myself drawn to the Iceland game last night which I watched all of. Even I was bemused at the lack of performance from the England team and the drive and "want" from Iceland.

A truly lacklustre performance.

On a separate note, who's on the tea run?

You missed the Icelandic tea van, it's been and gone. Early bird and all that. The English tea van may be along today some time. Maybe not. It will be tepid anyway.

Just did some basic profiling on why our application keeps crashing out because of high memory usage.

Turns out roughly half of the memory required is just data structures and pointers, essentially structural overhead, rather then valuable information...

Interesting stuff

I'm so happy about Iceland's win last night, as I drew them in the works football sweepstake.

Now I don't do football at all: but a few weeks ago even I knew my chances were slim.

Good old Engerland. You'll never let us down.

Being an Englishman, who lives in Wales, who's not into football is annoying to say the lest.

'hahaha...you lost' etc etc.

'I honestly don't care'

'hahaha...you lost' etc etc

Rinse and repeat.

So long long as Wales does well that's all that matters. More trade, more smiles more happy.

I dropped a kitchen worktop on my foot over the weekend, not a whole 3m one mind, a short bit I was cutting up to take to the tip, but it was heavy and the corner of it hit right in the middle of my foot from work bench height.

Swelled up to billy-o, yesterday it had gone down a bit but now the whole thing has gone blotchy purple.

I won't be seeking any medical advice, because I am a man, and if it drops off it's not like I used it that much anyway. Things furthest away from my head are lowest priority care-wise.

Talking of square sausage. My new T-shirt arrived in the post. It's Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper selfie pic standing in front of the Eiffel Tower. Which is in Paris....In France.

Also received was my 'Rocky' t-shirt.

I can't buy one without the other...It wouldn't be fair.

I'm also expecting another t-shirt...It's pink and has a kitten on it. I didn't buy this..It's a gift.
