You're either ghosted (suck it up!) or she wasn't keen on 1 day's notice to date #2. No need to over complicate anything. If she wants to see you she will. Is there any need to come on here crying "I don't understand women"?!

Nice to see the thread having a bump though.

Dont think I'll ever understand women.

Had a good tinder date the other night, few flirty texts and then Monday night she came round to mine. Lovely little cute brunette; intelligent, fantastic figure, fun.... pretty much everything you could ask for when first meeting someone. Had a bottle of wine, she stayed the night, all went well, and she left Tuesday morning with a few comments about seeing each other again.

Text her Wednesday afternoon to ask if she was free Thursday evening - not keen, but keen enough I thought - and then nothing! Not a polite 'I'm busy', not a no, shes seen the message and just ignored it.

Which is a shame, she was really up my street and while I hope its not totally dead, its not looking good. rolleyesfrown
She's not that into you.......sometime, could be a week or a month or a year but it will be at night and she will be pissed you'll get a 'hey' text.

I seem to have fallen into a bit of a thing with my "friend" which wasn't really intended but we seem to be making each other smile at the moment so I'm going with it on an unofficial, unlabelled basis.

Seriously though, once she's had a few drinks she's absolutely insatiable and left me battered and bruised last weekend laugh

I gave up with Tinder ages ago, and have only really browsed on POF. Not sure now is a good time to start messaging women on there anyway, a few days before Christmas?

Anyone had the dilemma/situation of bumping into people in real life that they've seen (but not interacted with) on POF? Not quite sure how to handle that, but it's happened to me several times, 3 just in the last week! Month ago I ended up chatting and flirting with a girl after we met in the pub, next day I realised she'd been coming up on POF matches (didn't recognise her at all at the time). Couple of others where our eyes have met across the street/pub, and I've recognised instantly, but not been in the right situation to try and strike up conversation. Is it acceptable to approach someone and use "haven't I seen you on POF" as an opener?

And another one the other night who started chatting to me in the local leisure centre. I thought she looking vaguely familiar from somewhere, I later twigged that it was from POF, no idea if she recognised me. Unfortunately, she looked pretty rough in her profile photos, and was even worse in real life. Maybe a bit harsh, but she reminded me of Kathy Burke's character in Gimme Gimme Gimme, in both looks and personality! Final straw was when she told me she lives in a caravan! I've had it suggested to me that I'm being too picky. I don't think I am, but now starting to wonder if that's the best I can hope for!

Ironically, 10 minutes later I got talking to a bloke in the pool changing rooms. He's been single for a about 6 months and living in a camper van in a field. He casually dropped into the conversation that he just goes on POF when he wants a bit of company.

Better than "haven't I seen you on RedTube" I suppose

Then again, maybe not confused

Chatted to a girl on POF who was a flight attendant... she ended up serving me beer on an easyjet flight. Don't think she recognised me, she seemed quite stuck up haha,

I had a date last Friday with another woman and we went for drinks Thursday night. We were discussing online dating and men/sex etc. I was telling her some of my tales and how joining adult groups to search locally often reveals so much more about a person...

Well well well how the tides turn on xmas day. 2 real messages without me initiating contact. Woken up on xmas morning single suddenly seeing all their mates posts on fb with partners the night before or morning gifts. As much as I actually felt the same I never even thought of logging onto pof on xmas at all.

i wouldn't read too much into it they were probably either really bored or really lonely, given the day.

Despite deciding to give it a proper go with the girl who lives miles away. She's had to put things on hold due to stuff with her folks.

It's not wrong for me to have arranged two dates in the next 4 days after being told that is it? Just sat waiting for number 1 as I haven't had work today so have popped to the boozer early for a warm up

she's put the relationship on hold due to something going on with her parents? Sounds like there is no relationship. You prob did the right thing.
