I am a middle aged man.

I have a small pot belly.

I have no shame.

I enjoyed skating in the 80's.

I have some (too much, apparently) disposable income.

Behold: https://www.longboardsuk.com/squid-38-classic-circ...

I paid less than half that, BTW, but still.
Ahhhhhh.....

I can relate to all of those points!

I will post a picture of the board I bought whilst browsing shops like fat Willy’s surf shack in Newquay last year.

I’ve still got to get around to doing something with my set of red and Green kryptonics and Gullwing trucks too!

hehe

Very nice.

I used to have a massive collection of 1/18 cars. Downsized massively a number of years ago, and now have a few very select Exoto and CMC ones.

They're quite frivolous enough!

Thanks. CMC and Exoto are very nice (with a price tag to reflect). I keep trying to downsize/focus my collection but as you can see it's to no avail. Oh well, on to the next purchase. biggrin

I used to collect a lot of models back in the day (back in the early 2000s before zinc prices went mad, and you could get a good 1:18 for £40!!)

I'd forgotten about big box of rare ones that I stumbled upon last week after 10 years when looking for something else... Now I'm undecided whether to keep them another 10 years or give in and sell them

I feel this'll be the most suitable thread for this, I've some vouchers left for Amazon after Christmas, got myself a couple car things and have that left over. Need some suggestions for cool/daft items up to say £40. Bonus points for gadgetry!

Just wondering how well a couple of these will go down with the wife. Can always turn up the volume to suppress the whining I suppose.

I have no idea what they cost but on design alone I think those would be grounds for divorce.

Anyone else thinking of that bit in Ruthless People (1986) with the Dominator speakers?

I thought it looked like a close-up of a new, hi-tech hearing aid.

Pup (pictured) chewed Sister d's $0.50c metal business card holder she got in India.

Spent $60 on possibly the worst quality tools to "fix" it...
