Your frivolous purchases, stuff you don't need...

Fed up with having to carry wellies to festivals and not ever being comfortable in them when it gets wet, I've taken the sensible, old man approach and bought some walking boots.

Possibly a silly question, but will the wording on that sign be "connected" to the ghosts? i.e. could you separate them fairly easily?I like the idea of the ghosts sign, just not the horrid logo underneath.
I frivolously dropped about £35 in Lidl earlier on a multimeter (already have one), a set of digital verniers (have an old set of regular verniers) and a ratchet and bit set (have SO many tools of all descriptions it is ridiculous!)...
I think I might have a problem - I'm addicted to buying tools!!

A K&N Panel Filter for my Swift, because the car is due a service and I have to order a new air filter anyway and thought I may as well have a reusable one.
Frivolous because the Pipercross one was £35-odd and the K&N was £55-odd, and I'm the sure the Pipercross would be just as good.

To me it looks like a folding bike that doesn't fold up, with some addenda on it to make it look vaguely like a Chopper.

Completely off topic but the mk1 golf gti looks nothing like a new one as per the anniversary thread and has moved on but still ok to be called a golf gti, the ethos remains the same as it does with the mk5 chopper.
Ok, that's a fair comment; I didn't realise it was an evolution. I was looking at it as a tribute / reproduction (at which it fails) but if it's intended to be a modern interpretation then fair enough. (I still think the seat looks awful though. )
