After hours of showers yesterday, it has rained all night on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. No doubt, roads around the village will be flooded once again.

I'm in north Suffolk near the Norfolk border and I agree the rain has been relentless. Roads full of standing water and massive puddles this morning on the rural country lanes.

Howdy neighbour! Where abouts? We're in the wilds behind Halesworth.

Still, every cloud ... the weeks of rain up here have enabled me to complete the complex and risky man-maths to convince myself to buy a Panda 4x4 Cross. hehe

No one planning to use Gatwick today were they? You might need to pack a dinghy for part of your journey there.

In West Berks all it's done is rain, now in Hants (Winchester) It's raining too.

Rain, rain rain. Literally all it has done. So much standing water out on the roads currently.

Wow indeed.

Picked and chose my routes earlier (Warwickshire) to avoid known trouble spots. Pleasantly surprised with how well everything is going.

ETA

I'm consoling myself this is just a precursor to a pleasant spring, followed by a long warm summer, with occasional light nocturnal showers.

Paging Andygo...

Did it "go" this time?

I hope it did and even more so hope you are now mended and soon home.

You have not missed much unless you are a fan of yet more rain!
