Sorry yes the rba coil.
As stevoknevo said it sounds like a short. Make sure your wire is not touching anything other than the posts. It could be your leads are too long allowing the coil to touch the cover. I don't use the RBA but I have seen enough videos to know that the coil has to only have two contact points the + and - posts.
To be honest this is one thread on a mostly motoring forum. If you are making your own coils or using premade coils on a deck and having problems then I suggest you post a thread on http://ukvapers.org/index.php to get a proper and correct response.

I have the Envy 17 with the subtank nano installed (page 378 for a pic)https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=5&v=D8L19KObat...

Its a great vape and has become one of favorite mods, only annoying thing is it does not have a wattage/voltage lock.

So I've got a problem.
Subox mini...
Swapped the coil in the rba yesterday for the original coil that come in the kit, all wicked up then
Primed juice added, clicked to see at 0.5 and all fine, left to charge upright for around 1-2 hours.
Once trying to fire it up im getting 'High Temp' showing on the screen, I let it cool for 20 mins as I was thinking
it might just have been hot from charging, no luck. I took it with me last night and the thing is boiling hot without
me even using it. Sounds like it's a gonna?
Make sure one of the two posts that ties the coil has not moved as I am pretty sure one of the the coil screws loosens one of the posts and the bottom section just underneath the coil moves and touches the opposite post, there should be a gap between the bottom(flat bit) and opposite post. Have to have a bit of patience have to say, also have to have time to spare to get them right.
Mentioning drip tips above got one of these in the bullet form http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/Vaping-Spares/Drip-Tip... and it does not go into the Kanger tanks, seems like the kanger are slightly smaller as it fits in evything else I have.

Strange that, I put my subtank mini drip tip in my new Uwell Crown tank as the uwell drip tip is too fat for me and that drip tip in the subtank, both fit perfectly in each other.Mentioning drip tips above got one of these in the bullet form http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/Vaping-Spares/Drip-Tip... and it does not go into the Kanger tanks, seems like the kanger are slightly smaller as it fits in evything else I have.

Just looking into a dripping build for one of my mods, anyone else do it much?
Pretty much all I do now I've got a single kanthal 1.3ohm build in this
https://www.fasttech.com/p/2264805
And a 0.10ohm twisted nickel TC build in this
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1936901
Both really good drippers, just have to be careful with the SoV one as it can spit boiling hot juice out the air holes straight into your eyes!! So find it better with the airholes at a 90 deg angle.....aiming at the missis I think the Origen gives a nicer vape (really smooth) but the SoV is easier to build/clean & rewick.
Still struggling, I've searched the net (all vaping forums)
The subtank is coiled as pictured, putting the tank onto eleaf battery I'm getting coil low,
Not firing from aspire cf just flashing light.
I was thinking its fried something in the subox battery but after trying on other batteries I'm thinking
It's the tank, what more can I try?

I use my drippers daily - Derringer with a single 0.7 clapton, Marquis with a single 1.2 standard microcoil and a Velocity with a dual parallel 0.5 build.I'm of the opinion that every vaper should have a Derringer in there arsenal (ha) Start off with a single coil build of 26awg, 9 wraps around a 3mm mandrel to give roughly 1.3ohm - it'll have great flavour and very good vapour production. Add another coil to the other side when you get used to building it for a 0.65 build that can chuck out loads of vapour/flavour, mental considering the size of it. £4.43 from Fasttech https://www.fasttech.com/products/2106600

That battery looks the worse for wear - the positive plate should be flush and not concave as it appears in the pictures. The subtank is coiled as pictured, putting the tank onto eleaf battery I'm getting coil low,

Try unscrewing the RBA deck from the base, give the base a dry out clean and screw the RBA back in good and tight. Build looks okay from what I can see, doesn't appear to be touching the deck or have have any overhangs from the coil legs that would touch the chimney barrel.

Have you tried building another of your own coils just in case ?
And have you checked the post the coil is attached to has not moved and is shorting ( touching the opposite post) ?
When you say the post moved, do you mean the screws? And have you checked the post the coil is attached to has not moved and is shorting ( touching the opposite post) ?
I was thinking the battery doesn't look so great,
Sorry again, just thinking what to say to vapeclub so they don't laugh at me.
