And congratulations to ali_kat on her 31,000th post bounce

That's got to be worth a celebration of some magnitude, surely?
I think a massive party at her house would be the order of the day party

Morning all

Just had a lovely cooked breakfast made by yours truly, nothing much else to do today until 5 ish when I am taking the TVR out to the leeds "cruise" (well its more like the Leeds park in burger king carpark and try not to get a ticket) but cruise flows off the tongue better

Watching Peppa Pig with the granddaughter at the mo. She's not been too well so having a quiet day with her.

Peppa's dad's a bit of a character isn't he? I wonder if he posts in SP&L? Miserable old sod grumpy

Have you seen the one where Daddy Pig and the other dads are jamming in the school hall? Makes me chuckle that one.

Hope grandbomma is okay.

Tommy the Log - for your burning desires. Supplier of solid wood fuel
to the Nobility & Gentry.

With the abject failure of the On The Road thread I've decided to post interesting things i see on here instead. Most of them are trivial so I doubt I'll be drummed out.

Yes, she'll be ok thanks chap. Just had a bit of a cold bug.

I've not seen Daddy Pig jamming yet, I'll look out for that in the next showing.

Back home now, need to give the old dog a good brushing.

Good day out with the folks yesterday. Out to lunch we had one Waldorf salad, two Paninis, one bottle of wine and three large glasses of wine. Is that all sir? Yes thanks. Ok that will be £106 pounds FFS!

£106 for lunch? Good God. The last lunch I bought was about £3. Tesco deal thing it was, sandwich and a drink. Might have been Morrisons actually, can't really remember. Normally make my own, or Mrs B does.

Mind, I remember we had some sandwiches and coffee in a hotel in the Lake District once, that was about £25. I thought that was bloody dear grumpy Looks like I probably got off lightly.

Anyhow, off down to the woods with the old dog in a bit. Might stop at the B&L on the way back. I'll see how it goes.

I bought my wife and 11 yr old daughter lunch in Cornwall last summer, the bill came to the top side of £130. To be fair it was a special lunch for our anniversary and it was at Jamie Olivers place, 15 Cornwall. It was actually worth that much too
