AKG N60NC headphones, i have two perfectly good pairs of headphones, both of which are corded, but after catching the cord on my music headphones one too many times, and getting fed up with untangling the 3m cord on my laptop phones, i finally decided to buy some Bluetooth ones!!!
Any good?

Very clean, clear sound, good bass but not as good as my Monster N-Trance, light and comfortable, good features, for what I paid I'm happy enough, just from the reviews I expected the bass to be on par with my Monsters, NC is really good!!!

Edited to update, they're loosening up nicely and more depth is appearing, must admit i'm actually quite impressed with them!!!

it'd be quite cool having that on your front garden and spinning up / tracking whenever someone approaches the front door

I bought some hive radiator valves last week as they were on offer.

Classing it as frivolous as my radiators don’t have TRVs so I can’t use them.

No, that's essential.

Frivolous would be if you bought it and didn't own an Africa Twin.

Backing up both our laptops and my PC to USB drives, along with remembering to turn on my PC when I want to watch something on Plex, is a bit of a pain, So obviously I needed a NAS, and with about 3TB of data floating around clearly I need one that can be expanded to 48 TB

Cost more than either of our laptops but should last for a few years, or until the Mrs realises we now have space for her to switch her camera to Raw.

I am need of a gadget - so thought here a good place to check ?

I need an entry sensor to mount at the gate to trigger a buzzer or similar in the house - or even get Alexa to speak up.

I have one of these type things https://www.amazon.co.uk/Security-Wireless-Drivewa...

- but horrendously unreliable / triggers at certain angles of the sun etc.

Watching with interest. We've tried several and gave up with all. Far too many false alarms from cats, ducks, magpies, sunshine etc
I just rely on motion on the ring doorbell now.

I have one of these (seems to not be available on Amazon currently):
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B081RGK5PH

connects to two sensors - in the library where I work, and the workshop (where I relax!) - both receivers (had to buy two kits to get two receivers but they both work off one sensor) are on intelligent plugs so that I can switch them off when on a meeting / video call etc.

occasionally goes off with a close pigeon but generally very accurate

We have one of those (or similar - same type/looking etc but a different brand). We do get the odd 'alarm' when we can't see anything there, but as we get deer, our cat, pigeons, possibly foxes etc wandering past, it works well enough for us.

That one has been on my radar too but was t sure if any good
Being mains powered at one end ‘may’ make it more dependable...?
