Anyone into trainers/sneakers?
Discussion
[quote=_MIKE_]Today has been one of those days, woke up and ordered another pair of ARKK and went to look at amps with the boss at a hifi show.
Came away not finding exactly what I wanted so on the walk ?? going past the posh shops, I said to the wife let’s go in some so I’ve ideas for Christmas.
I now own some LV trainers....

My wife liked the shiny gold ones when we were in LV!! Think they are VNR's or something. Yuck!
Don't know why the quote has gone weird. Edited to add a photo

I wonder.. can anyone suggest a pair of comfy trainers to wear daily to work that doesn't cost much? (around £50).
I have a pair of black adidas duramos that I use normally, including going to the gym. Only issue with that is the vented fabric means it's not something good for wearing in winter. I basically want something that'as a little warmer/covered up.
criteria is as follows
- around £50
- black, plain as possible for office slightly smart but mostly casual dress code. mostly worn with jeans.
- comfy for walking around in/commuting
- if it's good enough to use in the gym for use ona cross trainer then that's a bonus.

Best I could think off
ambuletz I can't comment on the good for winter, but I find these very comfortable.

Edited to add, you are probably better with new balanc, as suggested below, as the black pumas either have pepsi logos or a red section.

I was actually thinking of a totally different NB model that I own. It’s a skate model and less trainer-like than the above. Couldn’t find it in stock anywhere must be long gone.

Saw them! They did have some nice natural leather high tops but one errant splash of liquid and they’re done.
I bought these (I know they’ll be questionable to most but I don’t give a fk)
At £625, LV branding apart what makes them 'better' than the equivalent offerings from Nike/Adidas etc? Is the quality of the stitching/leather etc a step above? Are they made by hand in Italy? I've always thought trainers by fashion houses seem disproportionately expensive for what they are.I bought these (I know they’ll be questionable to most but I don’t give a fk)
If I buy a pair of Church's I can see where the money has gone over and above a pair from let's say Clarks. Is it a similar situation here or are you just paying ££ because it says LV/Prada/McQueen etc on it?

Did anyone else try/get the black diamonds?
If anyone tried and failed and are a size 8 let me know, would prefer to send to someone on here for cost than back to Nike
I’d be interested! If anyone tried and failed and are a size 8 let me know, would prefer to send to someone on here for cost than back to Nike
I am a 7, with insoles and thick socks I am sure I could make it work!
What was the price? I will obviously cover postage aswell!
