Do you? I don't.I would imagine there are some "people who recognise racism in just about everything", but so what? It doesn't mean that a certain amount of racism - or plain old xenophobia - doesn't exist, does it?
This is a bit like getting people to put their lights on when they drive through the Blackwall Tunnel. Some people say "I don't need to, I can see where I'm going". Of course, they are missing the whole point.
So would you call a Japanese person a "Jap" to their face, or in their earshot?
