Coping with the heat?
Discussion
Expressing sympathy for a group of people that choose not to drink water or anything else during the hottest days of the year doesn't sound very racist to me.
Would you like to explain how it is? Or just call people names?

I know, I know, but I bloody love them. Wear them in the house, outside walking, down in the beach, plodding through the water. The house had wooden floors and it quite cold in winter. Then I use them instead of slippers.
Last year I got spotty sunburn through the holes in them.

Bliss.
How are the midgies? On as I type.

I tried using it on holiday last week, utterly useless !
And when taking photos late at night, a midge hood is useful! (Night before last)

Smidge works, (at last a proper deterant), but knowing where to be when is still best.

I couldn't stop flies circling round my head in rural areas last week in Sweden, really annoying.
Luckily they didn't come into my tent.
I got bitten a lot.
today I've been steaming off wallpaper. Yes, using a steamer, for hours on end. I have rather nicely timed some plasters to plaster a room on tuesday, so I have no option but to get the job done. Oh joy, looking forward to more of the same tomorrow.
btw, is this like the summer of '76?
