Garage at bottom of garden, so can make as much noise as I like, filled with bikes (two) and summer car, lots of tools, pillar drill, grinder, polishing mop, beer fridge, but recently purchased a quickjack, and currently that's my favorite thing.

Builders are starting on my garage conversiohttps://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/post.asp?h=0&f=210&t=1844994&r=41142805&m=quoteOne#faceboxMastern on 6th January. So far my man cave ideas are pretty standard. I have Hi-Fi, sofa, pool table, dart board, big TV and beer fridge. I think I need some big Neon signs in the outline of a stripper or something to add that touch of class.
converting your garage?? redcard

One of these, no Man Cave should be without.

Mines a bit smaller than that but I couldn't agree more.

That's better - I was beginning to despair at all the playrooms being called Man Caves.
Can I play too?

Finished this yesterday. Doesn't really go in my man cave but makes use of my dead engine.

Love my coffee table, sourced the crate of tank shells myself, video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4k04HHvuuY

Even my wife liked that. I wish I had the imagination, and skill, to come up with something like that.

I don't know if you still can but you used to be able to buy used F1 tyres and use them as a base for a coffee table. Constant smell of rubber would god the downside to that I imagine.

Recently completed the Hillbilly Bench using a 70s Ford pickup tailgate. The scooter is my late Grandfathers 1956 Piatti.

Awesome, absolutely fantastic. Where did you start looking for the shells please? eBay throws up nothing other than small bullet type casings, google only has American websites about collecting etc.

Looks like I'm moving house in the next few months and the new house has a garage AND a big shed in the garden.

This thread will be useful I think

My lad is having an extension built, and has asked the builders to lay a foundation for 'a small shed'
It is about 30ft x 15ft and has been piped up for a toilet and washbasin

Makes my little 9x6 seem like a punishment cell

Sometimes the odd crate turns up at army shows, anyway tank shells are so last summer, it's decommissioned Russian guided missiles this year.
