I think I have finally realised that we'll never, ever, ever, EVER know who Jack The Ripper was.

So anyone writing a new book with
a new Ripper suspect can FRO.

been down that road dozens
of times

On a positive note I have replaced the above with the following:

Fitness and health.

I lost a ton of weight over the last 5 years and am at the gym lifting heavy 4-5 times per week. I get far more enjoyment out of being in shape, eating well and not being a fat than I ever did from cars or nights out. A gym membership is £27.50 per month compared to at least £27.50 on a single round of drinks in town and despite the stereotype, that huge ugly bloke in the dark corner of your gym is usually lovely biglaugh

Country sports and competitive target shooting.

The countryside is a wonderful place to be when those who live in the city aren't trying to dictate how those who live in the countryside should live their lives. Lots of fun and interesting people. Attending comps has taken me all around the country and although I won't be troubling any of the top competitive shooters anytime soon I still enjoy it immensely.
Reading this brought on a smile. I've been living away from the UK for a decade and a half and am heading back next week - albeit only for a couple of years. Reading the previous replies wasn't pretty so I'm glad that there's some positives here. Got to make the most of what I missed about home whilst being there!
