Weight problems are psychological, not physiological (99.99999999% of the time)
I think that there are underlining mental issues that can cause some people to eat excessively. However, some people are just too lazy eat McDonald's and do not care about their diet. They are the people that annoy me!
The problem with obesity is peoples lifestyles and all this "2 month lose 2 stone" s
t only makes the problem worse. People who are overweight and would like to lose weight need to change their lifestyles and not how they eat for 3 months! You cannot go on a diet after 3 months go back to the same old routine. I made a big effort last year to lose weight and I will never go back to how I was eating back then. I now exercise 3 times a week and eat healthy. I feel much better physically and mentally for it.
Congrats to some of the people in this thread who are on the weight loss process! Keep it up!

I'm what would be considered a PH chubby. I'm 5 foot tall with a BMI of 30. I wear size 12s or 14s and put on weight very easily because I like to eat chocolate, so I watch what I eat most of the time and have the chocolate or cake if I want it. I also make sure I get off my fat bum and exercise two or three times a week.

Here's some info for you...a mate of mine is a dwarf, which means he has a normal torso but small arms and legs (as opposed to a midget who is simply scaled down).
