If I leave now,I might be able to get to the Downs before the Derby kicks off.

Never actually walked that journey, reckon it's 2 miles.

Meh,I'm going to put the dinner on.

You could have horse meat for dinner. That would give you the flavour of the event if nothing else.

That would make a good road trip, Luci; a little drive to Portmeirion. The house where No.6 stayed is microscopic. It's one of the gift shops.

I went to Coventry Motofest today, parked by the railway station, would've been as easy to take the train. It was okay.

My money would be on the BMW lot.

Tight at the back, couple of big strikers up front. Can't go far wrong with that.

I have this thing, have I ever said?

Sometimes, driving along a road I'm familiar with, I get a mental image of the same stretch of road driving in the opposite direction.

You following this? Unbidden and random I'm talking about. Just sometimes, there it is, a picture in my mind of going the other way along same bit of road.

It's a bit unsettling.

Yes, apologies for random post last night during the unfolding horrors. I hadn't seen the news at the time.

I only heard about it an hour or so ago. Shocking business, utterly dreadful.

I often rush about to the point I bump into myself coming the other way, so similar

Looks like the Muslim Coucil have started actually condemning these sort of atrocities rather than their usual stance of avoiding eye contact and whistling.

Just got in from Goodwood. Thirty pounds (and ninety New Pence) for four bacon'n'hegg rolls, a tea and a coffee. Good job it's free entrance innit.

However, and it's an important however, you got TWO rashers of bacon per roll as opposed to just a single at the Supercar Sunday Breakfast Club.

Hmmmm... cynical upsurpation of the conspicuously wealthed-up or just fewer people means proportionately more seared pig products to go round? I think we should be told

Seems breakfast club went okay after all.

Might have been my last chance to exhibit.

Breakfast club was lovely. The ticketing thing didn't seem to be a thing but it was much more nicer than the Supercar debacle with fewer people and far more interesting cars.

...did I mention you got double rations of rashers, too? burger
