Without having seen them, I think the proper term for what you're describing is Caltrops.

I saw those! Think it was Wish or one of those random sites.

Basically like metal start type things to lay on the road. Not convinced they're legal! haha
Yes, just seen them again, they are £7 now, but still, who wouldn't want them?!
£4.82 incl P&P on eBay

After popping into Screwfix a few weeks ago to get an L bracket and returning with the L bracket and a Makita LXT brushless Drill/Impact Driver set with which to fit the said bracket, my old forbetterforworser mentioned a door was brushing against the new carpet.

Now I have a new Makita LXT planer to remove a millimetre or two off the bedroom door.

Frivolous or essential? And what's the potential of buggering up the job with only Youtube videos as instruction?
My power tool rule: Any cordless tool, accessory or battery which is compatible with my existing kit is deemed an 'investment'
Mine is "If it can't be done with a power tool, it can't be done!"
It's even better if it makes an awful mess. A router fits the bill admirably I've found!!

“Missions to the Moon” Augmented reality book from Amazon
A fair few pictures can be seen via app by pointing camera at page. 3D so can pan around the subject. Can also launch videos from the pics & further reading. Eg:-
Just bought a couple, Christmas shopping started!

Pretty cool
The picture is a screenshot from my mobile, when pointed at one of the Augmented reality pictures.
When pointed at other pics in the book it launches videos from when the picture was taken etc

Kickstarter. Again. Earhphones. Again.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/soundpeats/so...

I backed them at "51% descound for early bird". Shipping in October. We'll see i guess.

Also, Wish is f*cking dangerous.

I ordered what i thought was a standard looking later pen to ps off the dogs, cat, daughter etc.

It arrived with a funny looking battery and when i used it i can certainly do the above. If the dogs, cat etc. were on the moon! redface. Aren't lasers this powerful illegal / frowned upon in the UK.

I did a distance test and can easilt his a friends house that's over a mile away and he tells me the dot was still very bright. Was checking the news all night in case someone from somewhere was sniping folks with a green laser attachment. THat or the CAA on the hunt as i'm on a flight path. Scary bright.

I've ordered a few laser pens from Wish and not one has actually made it to me in the Netherlands. Wish just refund me when I complain.

The Katalog ( It’s English and German! ) is pretty frivolous, especially as it’s the 2019 version and the 2020 won’t be far off!

But more worryingly, it will be the inspired purchases that result from browsing it, usually whilst on the can!

My Oculus Rift arrived over the weekend. It's bloody horrible!

So far:
My daughter has thrown up and fallen over whilst on a roller coaster ride.
My niece fell into an oak cabinet and split her lip while playing table tennis.
I played dirt rally for about 30 second before giving up due to motion sickness.

It can live in the TV cabinet and brought out to make a fool of any visitors wanting to give it a try.

£400 well spent then!

Your PC isn't powerful enough. That all sounds like low or inconsistant framerate issues at least for the sickness ones. Make sure you have the chaperone on and plenty of space. Also make sure users are clear on those bounds.
