Tell us something really trivial about your life (Vol 27)
Discussion
Wasn't there a chap who had a yellow helmet & drove a German car? I expect he's better now, it was some time ago.
Used to see a bloke in the Snorkel & Sumpguard who had an Orange phone. Not the network, just the phone.
Odd sort of fellow really, everything he had was orange. Land Rover, clothing, phone - even the lights on his Disco were orange.
Used to do weddings & children's parties, but only if it was pouring with rain?
The lunch was lovely today. Hard tack & lightly braised lobster, Cote d'Azur bikini bottoms with ice cream & de-restricted Pernod.
Glad I opted out of SERPS now.

Marvellous plan mines a large one
Do be careful if it's a large mine; be very gentle if you are trying to push it away from the pier and remember "Don't Panic!"Regarding schools as mentioned earlier, I liked mine so much that I had it demolished. The site came in handy to build a supermarket on, so it wasn't entirely a bad decision. (It was closed prior to demolition, just in case anyone is worried about the children.)

Heaven and Hell? Is that the vampire place with the blood wrestling?
No, well not this evening anyway. Today they're hosting the traditional Vicars and Tarts party. As usual the clergy will outnumber the tarts, especially since the Devonshire sisters have now retired from the business, so I'd advise you to get there early unless you want to be surplice to requirements.Iva Barchetta said:
On the subject of colour and cars.
I did some observing on the way back from east London, monotone everywhere.
Occasional red b blue but dull dull dull.....
The commercial vehicles and buses are more colourful overall.
My truck is orange.
I have a list of a number of cars I'd like to own at some point in my life, but one of the requirements I've set myself is they have to be interesting colours. This is going to be hard enough already, and some of them I even want in particular colours! A 911 in Riviera Blue, an RS6 in Merlin Purple and an Aston Vantage in Ocellus Teal would go down nicely. I hate the lack of bright colours on modern machinery.
Edit: I am aware that two of my desired specific colours are not very bright, but they are very interesting.

Waiting for garage door Pher to call back. No biggie, I expect they do their "catch up with enquiries" stuff at the end of the day.
But I am just about to drive back to mine and the Bluetooth/hands free thingy makes the call sound like it's being conducted in a long abandoned toilet which isn't so good for an exchange of information.
What's the bets the phone starts to ring the moment my front wheels enter the motorway on-ramp?

Yo.
Today's Ferrari was spotted at 7.34am.
It was red.
This is red.
I spotted it today.
In East London.
It's not a Ferrari.
Not all red cars are Ferraris.
Halfway through that post i was going for the phone to call the men in a van with straightjackets...Today's Ferrari was spotted at 7.34am.

Tis a TVR wedge right? (as a filthy continental i am not properly educated in the specifics of archaic British shed-built cars)
A load of them drove over for the Wedgefest a couple of weeks ago.
This one is mine

Orange Lambo or Porsche GT3 is heaven, or a Ferrari in that mustard colour I've forgotten the name of.
