To be fair though, you had a choice and chose a 90's Citroen, which is (in my opinion), pretty damn council.
I just checked his garage, expecting him to be posting from the back of his Rolls Royce in Central London. The shock when I saw he drives a Citroen.

Selecting the Citroen and ignoring the Healey 3000 in order to garner internet points is not only council, it's very, very, cheap.

Ignoring the fact you can't spell the name correctly, can I ask what is so funny about where I live? Or are we just now dwindling down to childish retorts and mocking where people live because I offended your Xantia?

You don't really get it do you? He said choosing to buy furniture from a shop is council, I remarked that so is choosing to buy a Xantia, the fact he has a Healey 3000 doensn't really come into the argument.

Oh I get it, Marc, trust me. But attacking someone's garage on PH is not the done thing.

Never mind, you two carry on squabbling on the internet. smile

You should learn to measure twice, cut once, because in your hurry to offend my car selection, you have clicked on the name of the one person who defended you(Adenauer) and mocked his choice of car.

I wasn't defending him, can't stand the guy tbh. biggrin

I was just saying that knocking someone's garage on PH isn't the done thing, regardless of who it is.

Are you referring to me as having an old golf? I'm not claiming to be some sort of millionaire with a house full of bespoke furniture.

I wouldn't say a 3.5 year old car is 'old', but fair enough.

I see, in fairness, I wasn't slating his choice of car, I just struggle to beleive that someone who believes that buying furniture from a shop is council, also drives a Citroen Xantia. Hell, my cars are/have been very council, though my Supra lacks a bodykit, it sure as hell is still council due to the fact the open pipe exhaust noise angers the elderly.

Yet you are happy to criticise my choice(s) of car ?

Have you ever thought about reupholstering old (quality) furniture ?.....who said "millionaire with a house full of bespoke furniture" ? (3 bed country cottage on a hill is not a Stately Home is it)

(edit: ID on the car ? )

And it is in Barry smile

I was unsure at first, but I think it's an F-Type, the camara lens has just distorted it a little, the wing mirrors are right, so are the rear arch lines, third brake light and front wing vent.
