Oh dear. I thought I saw the old devil yesterday at the first leg of the marmalade judging semi final. Turned out it was just some fellow in a druid fancy dress costume.

Yes, of course I'll speak to the Vicar. They're having their monthly get-together in Transformers wine bar today so I'll swing by there.

Look, this is no time for navel gazing. We have army gawping today and airforce ogling tomorrow. There's just no time.

Agreed but lastly as its in motion, The WI are going to bake some explosive jam tarts in his memory. However the scouts have got themselves in a bit of a muddle they were to refurbish the gents toilets where he spent his formative years, but got the 'Bob A Job' idea wrong so were giving shillings out to patrons as they emerged from the cubicles. Suffice to say they blew the budget.
The Archdeacon has put the paperwork together for a blue plaque outside the Pink Trombone where English spent a brief but enlightening time and we are thinking of framing the rubber ring he had to sit on for a week to complete a homage montage.
Lastly, Farty McFarlane has discovered these in his kit bag does anyone want them? Some have only been used once.

Ah, Dicky - there you are. Morning chap. We're trying to organise a quiet, informal sort of do on the Village Green. Wondered if we could borrow the big screens & the Marshall stacks? V6 will sort out the lighting gantry.

I hate to be the one to break it to you but there are some things you can't do with a Sonic Screwdriver. Some.

Having a day off, just used the little alfa to move roughly two cubic metres of crap from the attic to the tip, another task the little italian takes in its stride.

Next up, more cleaning/boxing crap up, and probably a hoon at the go-kart track this afternoon

This morning I've been mostly wishing they would re-open the banter thread so we don't have to wade through all that nonsense on here. If I wanted to read an Edward Lear book...
