Wandering around, enjoying the village atmosphere that is General Gassing, and I couldn't help noticing Miss Badgyng-Carrs is active again. Very amusing. She'll go far.

Yes, you lot , as in the usual bunch of mildly intoxicated, slightly mad, partial demented, a little bit weird, or collectively know as, the TT residents!!!

Sorry Im late, I've been posting on the EU negotiations thread, its a bit of a mess in there so I've popped back for some light relief.

I'm liking the lego hedgehog.

All is quite at Fatboy Towers this morning, household chores, business invoicing and other durregery to do today.
I'm going to cheer myself up by putting the TV on watching some episodes of homes in the sun, that way I get to see some lovely blue sky, instead of the Grey blanket known as United Kingdom. frown

Well I have a lot more confidence in the new company I have taken it to, they have rebuilt many Dana Super 44 diffs, Geoff was not surprised to see the truloc diff clutch pack clip break, he has seen it many times before and said it was a weak link. He also said i was lucky that I caught it when I did as normally people carry on driving and then the clip comes out through the side of the casing resulting in a new diff carrier! It won't be cheap but he is going to fully rebuild it with new bearings and clutch pack.

Sounds expensive!!! But I suspect that it kind of goes with the territory when you have something like the Viper!!!!

It's good to know that Northampton's good for something.

Last time I was in the town I was asked if I had any loose change and if I knew the number of a good we.

That was at the desk of the Police Station where I'd gone to hand in a purse I'd found in a car park grumpy

Anyhow, we've been shopping. Went to Milton Keynes, a religious experience indeed.

I know it's not exactly our 'thing', but she's only six and it'll do for now.

She does want the Mack truck though. It's been put into the second quarter budget for her birthday in April.

I like the way this thread just drifts along of its own accord. Are we there yet Dad...?

Thinking of cashing some of my pension in and bagging a(nother) nice P5B Coupe, life is too short, but then so am I!

ETA : I've just remembered somewhere in this house is an unopened Lego Beatles Yellow Submarine...

The Trivial Thread - a quiet backwater of inconsequence.

I've been to ANOTHER thing .
That's 3 in 19 days of 2019.
I won't be keeping this up.
A rally at Brands Hatch.

Rather pleased with this.

Flying Fiesta.
Took lots more at this position ,most quite poor ,blurry.

I didn't stay to the end ,my stamina doesn't stretch that far in this cold.

Yes and No, the diff repair is going to cost around a Grand by my reckoning,
a replacement clutch is £250 quid if you do it yourself.
Its the Labour rates of having to pay a specialist that throw the prices through the roof.
I could never afford a Ferrari or Lambo and have the service charges that go with them cry
