The Crown is ace, I have two and have mainly been using them since they came out.

Bought a couple of Pico's recently and unfortunately the Air flow control ring snags on the battery cap so you can use the crown on these.
So I got a Subtank nano (I think, it's the smallest one) with 1.2 coils it's a really good little, pocketable set up.

Has anyone tried any of the new Kanger drip/drop stuff? Tempted.

I've been six months smoke free after 20 years of 20-a-day. I'm using a couple of Wismec RX 200s with SMOK TFV4 tanks. I've tried other tanks (UWells, etc) but noting hits the spot like the SMOKs. I'm eagerly awaiting delivery of a TFV8 when they're out later this week. Thanks to the poster a page or two back who advised on Vapegoo juice. I've been using Totally Wicked Diavlo stuff for a long time, but have been going off it. Variety seems to be the key and the Vapegoo stuff is great and well priced. Here are my mods;

Glad you like the Vapegoo stuff - I made a good recommendation and received validation, this is making the whole brexit thing seem meaningless now! hehe

Got another mod box thing, first impressions are I should have gone for higher wattage as it can't heat up the clapton coils I'm running well enough.

Nice and small though.

OK I need help. I just can't seem to get my ego AIO to work properly. I have been vaping for a couple of years, I kind of know how things work. Been trying to use it for at least a week, I pre primed the coil, filled it below the fill level to prevent leaks, charged the battery and it just gurgles to hell, gets really hot after a few puffs and today it was lying on its side in my pocket and leaked.

Literally as I was typing that I reached for it and worked perfectly. I don't get it, its like there is a sweet spot on the airflow and when you hit it its great, anything else a gurgly mess.
Mine took a couple of days of being a bit temperamental then it seemed to settle down, had a couple of coils burn out nearly straight away etc. made sure to clean the threads when changing coil and been okay since. Never had a leak though.

Same here with this dna40, I broke the coils in over a few tanks at low watts but got hardly any Vapour from them, I'm running these at max 40w here and they're better but I'm sure they could do with an extra 10-20w to really get them going, TC set to 450f and haven't had a burnt taste yet. Good coils smile

Battery life's suffering though!! Maybe an hours use at 40w then have to recharge for a couple hours.

Definitely, fine through most tanks and it's by far the best all round package in my opinion, easy to fill, simple to clean as there's not many parts, and of course fantastic vapor.

The TFV4 is doing okay but it's quite complex and fiddly. The top fill system is an annoying gimmick which comes loose and leaks a lot, but if the crown didn't exist this TFV4 would be a solid 2nd choice for best tank around right now.

I have 2 crowns as well and just don't see the need to try anything else. They are tough too, mine have been knocked over, dropped multiple times and are still intact. I broke the glass on my subtank mini twice with similar mishaps.

I had the same kind of thing, went from a small pen time one to a large box and just couldn't get it to do anything at all. For me it turned out that the battery needed charging for approx a day initially, since doing that it has been fine.

I can get a couple of months out of a coil easy, but I tend to change around the six week mark for no other reason than to have a refresh.

I have been making my own juice for the last couple of years, and I think the reason my coils don't die is because I run zero flavour.

I make my juice about 10mg nic, with a base mix of 85/15 vg/pg and no added flavour at all. I like the throat hit and have no need for a sickly flavour.

I also bought a silicone case for my rx200s and a new fancy charger.

I got them from my local vape shop. Most places got stock in the last few days after a bit of a wait.

Got a bit keen over the weekend, on Tuesday I'll have...

Smok Quantum
Uwell Crown tank
Mini volt mod
Nautilus X tank
Various Bunkr and Spirit walker liquids.

The I'm still very much a mtl vaper, the tfv4 mini I've been using just spanks juice so hoping the Nautilus works better as my standard tank.
The Quantum is to replace my Smok RSteam as the charger port is buggered. I carry a spare battery with me but the Minivolt may replace it.
The Crown is based on the good reviews it seems to get. I'll try the 0.5 coil and see how I like it.

Morning folks.. I currently have a nautilus Mini with an Aspire CF-VV 1600mah battery. I run 6mg on 1.6 Ohm coils, After about 6 months of ownership, I feel as though a change is in order.
I think it's because I'm fed up with having to carry a set of grips with me to undo the base and refill, and the batteries are on the way out as im only getting a day out of them before having to recharge.

I'm thinking of getting a nautilus X or similar, along with a 20W Mod of some sort, Anyone have any recommendations?

Finally, I have been using Grizwalds Raspberry dream for about a year now, just moved onto 80/20 VG Mix but I feel as though I should explore what's out there, anyone have a good recommendation for a berry fruit flavoured liquid?

Thanks all!

The nautilus X is certainly something I would be looking at if I was still using a nautilus Mini.

I'm really happy with my Innokin Cortex with iSub-S tank and their 2ohm coils - good price, good battery life, plenty of options around coils, TC, VW etc, great topfilling tank with airflow adjustment. About £40 for the kit and £5 for a pack of coils from Amazon.

I have a load of mods but the combo I keep coming back to is the Joyetech evic mini with a cubis tank, its so user friendly.

I have one of the new Joyetech Egrip 2s on order which integrate the cubis tank inside the mod but also comes with an adapter to allow the use of external tanks. It even has a clock on it. Looking forward to this one, I’ll post up a review when I get it.
