I've one of them for watermelons. Note - cut the top and bottom 5cm off the watermelon before using, or expect to have to hammer the cutter through...

(I didn't read the packaging the first time, it took a good twenty minutes to cut through).

Geoff is killing me! I have to put a cable down around the garden so he doesn’t run off and cut the neighbors garden/swimming pool. Due to the complexity of my garden it has taken hours and my back is killing me.

If the goal was to do less gardening I have gone from doing nothing to doing a ton and paying a load of money for the tools to automate.

Mission status currently failure.
Geoff needs his own thread. I've seen SpaceX launch rockets with less planning and effort smile

Loop ear plugs - going to one gig this year. Probably won’t go to another.

Why spend £1 on some foam earplugs when you can spend £30 on some foam earplugs with plastic stuck to them.

I bought a box of these years ago and am still working through them, seemed frivolous at the time buying that many. https://www.safetecdirect.co.uk/products/3m1100/3m...

In quickly googling for that link I found someone on Amazon selling them for £4.50 for 5 pairs...factor in a bit for postage that's £180 profit for a £18 investment. Why didn't I think of this?

i can already hear the groans....... but i just got another set of headphones.

phoned o2 to sign up to a new/ better sim only deal (100gb data unlimited texts/ calls- £20 for 18 months! no need for that amount of data, but was cheaper than my current 25gb for £22) and at the end of the call the guy goes- would you be interested in some apple airpods, i can do a good discount on them.

yeah yeah, i’m sure you’re gonna knock £10 off them. nope- half price. apple airpods for £80, tried to see if they would discount the airpod pros, but no.

do i need another pair of headphones, nope. when will i use these over my B&W PX, or my sennheiser cx300, or my RHA maXXX or my cheap wireless gym headphones?!? who knows, but they were half price!!

I've got Flare Isolates and they're amazing!

I've got the 'Mini' ones, but I don't think they're any different apart from fitting smaller lug'oles.

A couple of these to go in an older car (to go with the old speakers)

No idea if they work yet. The prices of some of the ones I used to own have gone nuts!

Anyway, not needed, I just like the memories.

The mini ones must be better, these ones I’ve got are a bugger to get in and keep falling out. They seem too heavy.

You know that they have to go in DEEP, right? You pull your ear lobe down which opens the ear canal. and they go right in so that the tragus completely covers it. No part of it pokes out.
