70 years of Ferrari in Windsor was a bit pants tbh.
The weather and time of the year hasn't helped, although it looked like a decent turnout

Afternoon all.

All the Pringles gone? Nom nom.

Bomma I assume you got the Out of Court so the Clergy could keep other matters `under wraps` as it were?!

M25 was pants too but that's a given.
Fatal accident @ J12 last night apparently. I hear it was shut for investigation.

Free parking? Could have done with that when we took Das Boot to Laleham before Easter £15 a day in Leisure Centre was all I could find!!

Bit of a trek on foot ,Old Windsor to Laleham.
I parked in a residential street and a bloke in a Transit asked me about the funny Fiat.
Nice of people to show an interest.

We were shifting the thing in relays.Left a car in Windsor & another in Laleham to drive back.

3 hours by boat so would probably be the same on foot. Locks take ages!!

People do ask about interesting or odd stuff, get a lot of it with DB when cruising.

Afternoon Jim, there's still a few Pringles left. Bit of pork pie if you'd like some too.

The Clergy business didn't end too well. The Archdeacon was defrocked, now drives a bin lorry for the Borough Council.

Last I heard, anyhow.

Jolly good. Put them by & Il have them later, I`ve got a few Mexican beers left over from a recent BBQ if you`re interested. Is the pie one with egg in or is that Gala Pie?

Wondered why the AD had a somewhat swift career change too......... Live & learn!!

Just waxed the new Jam Jar. Had a waft up to Ipswich yesterday, seems much quicker than the last one considering its only another 34 bhp.

2 weeks at Wimbledon presumably pays better than going to Austria and Silverstone for ch4.
Lee McKenzie,looking at you.

Not a criticism, gotta go where the cash is.

Means we're stuck with Louise Goodman instead.

Although Mrs Wolff has turned up,with her strange Germanic Scottish accent.

I'll have one of those Mexican beers with you old chap. Cheers beer

The pork pie's good, it has a layer of pate in it. Brixworth pate I think it is, very nice. I'll put a couple of slices by for you.

Hello Jim gotta new motor? I'd be interested to know a bit more...

If you're feeling peckish old chap, you might be more interested in the chicken and mushroom Carbonara thing Mrs B's knocking up at the mo. With a few red and green peppers. And a bit of garlic.

And a nice slab of Ciabatta.

Top chap.......... Pie sounds good & should go well with the beer.

I bought another E Class Estate. Had a 220 last time & this is a 250, I know its the same engine as before but its either remapped or has another turbo. Seems almost as quick as my Dads old, chipped, 07 320 CDi, since replaced by a Disco 4.

Its a rather fetching light metallic blue, Crystal Silver according to MB, with light grey leather.

V5 arrived today so `My plate` will be assigned next week.

Cant believe the deal I did either........ Cant decide if it`s the cheapest car I`ve ever bought or they were desperate to own a 6 year old one with 115k up & it came from an MB dealer too!

I had one of those weird wtf moments earlier, walking through town, tramp in the doorway, sleeping bag, all his gear. Talking on his mobile.
Really messed with my head

Ooh that sounds lovely. Top work old boy.

I had a look at E Class estates a while back, most I saw seemed to suffer with rust. Mind, they were a bit more than 6 years old. Sort of 03 - 07 plates they were.

Ended up with another Saab Aero. Maybe I should stop being a tight old sod.

Well ,after many months I managed to get onto Escort Cos dot com ,by clicking on a pic in images ,it got me in via the backdoor.

Stupid laptop won't let me access due to nanny issues ,it thinks it's not suitable for me.

Much like PH ,it's had a makeover which I don't care for but hey ho.

Yes indeedy ,I had 3 ,all at the same time and all black.

Bought the first AFR 944Y in Southend on Sea 1999.
Bought the second CRK 925Y in East Grinstead year or 2 later for spares.
Bought the third GKM 3Y off the boyfriend of a work colleague in about 2003.

The last one was dirt cheap as the MOT had recently expired, spent little to get a pass.

This was the first car I drove to Italy in ,in 2006 and the first car I drove round the Ring ,1 whole lap.

It ended up with a seemingly incurable running problem and bought the Fiesta new to get a reliable daily

as the Cosworth, bought 2007, was already not reliable enough to rely on.

Scrapped CRK and sold the other 2 to the same bloke from Dovercourt. Essex to restore.
Wow!!!!! Just stumbled over this.
I owned CRK 925Y, Black RS1600i for 5 years from the late 80's until 1994.
I traded it for an XR4x4 then about a year later a good friend turned up with CRK 925Y and he held on to it for about 18 month I think.

Don't know when I posted that ,had a new username for a bit now.

I bought CRK in about 2001 as a non runner from a bloke in Hayward's Heath ,Sussex.

I won't go into what I have found on the driver's floorpan.
