Or laughing, as they jacked up the postage Also guilty...I don't recall ordering it but when it arrived, I knew to check in this thread first.
I own none of the other things to run it.

Yep i bet they are wondering what’s going on!!When i bought mine it said they had 157 units in stock, it now says 108 units.
I wonder how many of those 49 engines have been purchased by Pistonheads guys!!

Apologies, that was a careless oversight....
Mmmm. Thank you kindly. Essential lockdown purchases to aid with the extra DIY. I can definitely sell these to the OH as non-frivolous...Will report back when it's all here and tested.

With all of these questions it comes down to what will you do with it, and how much do you want to spend. For example we have the most fun racing our 1/12 pan cars in our local school hall.
But we also have massive fun with our 1/8 scale nitro buggies at the local park.
So where you can use it once built is almost as big a question of what do you want to build and race?
I’ve been toying with a tamiya kit - either the race truck or the 2cv rally car. The latter would be ideal for where I would use it, but it seems very slow in YT vids. I also looked at making a custom sand scorcher but they don’t make them anymore.
Any suggestions for a quick but not too expensive kit? I would love a renault 4 to do a dakar replica, but anything offroad and quick with a decent range of body shells would do.
I have a TT02 drift chassis and fancy trying to get a brushless setup that will work for drifting and speed by having a spare set of wheels/tires to switch over to, not sure how well it will work though, might be too much power then for drifting well.
ETA - Im now also looking at brushless buggy/truggy kits now too...

Anyway, whilst I was in for a penny I may as well be in for a pound. Also arriving is the following:
12V impact driver (looks to be a surprising amount of torque for a little thing)
12V drill driver
Well these turned up today and i am more than a little dissapointed. Both the drill and the impact driver have axial run-out. The impact driver is tolerable, but the drill is the worst i've ever seen. The sole purpose of a drill is to make a round hole in stuff, how have Bosch screwed this up so bad (pun intended). The main use for this drill will be for 2.4 and 3.2mm rivet holes in sheet aluminium and steel. There's no way a 2.4mm drill would survive - it would certainly snap given how much movement there is. 12V impact driver (looks to be a surprising amount of torque for a little thing)

Anyway, i've contacted the retailer for a return/replacement so lets see what happens - hopefully it's a faulty one and they're not all like this. Otherwise they're really nice little things (but pointless if you cant drill a round hole!)

Thanks chaps! It certainly does remove the tedium of getting the pressure washer out, untangling it all, plugging it in, trailing the hose to it, plugging that in, then moving it around several times as you wash the car, putting it all back after, takes longer than the actual washing bit!

Hold the phone. Hmmm great idea problem is where I live it will gone in a week. PushedDover said:
Yeah good effort. I plan to outfit the inner wall to the garage to have a jet wash, normal tap and a hot water jobby.
The reel is so damned expensive though....Or have you a good source ?
I bought it off Amazon, this one has the hose and the tails as well. If you have a pressure washer like a K4 that has quick connect fitments you don't need anything elseThe reel is so damned expensive though....Or have you a good source ?

Wondering if I can somehow plumb it in the garage through the wall and just keep the hose outside.
Hmmm

I thought blue bosch was supposed to be the good stuff?!
IT IS!!To put it into context my cheapo B&Q "Power" own brand drill I got like 18years ago for about £15 has less axial run out than this £150 drill/driver set.
