Just bought a new mod - the Asmodus Ohmsmium... but the 18650 batteries I bought are too long.

I assume I will have to buy unprotected (shorter) batteries to use in it, not sure if I will also need a new charger.

Great minds VEA!

Temp control is very important to me, my understanding is the wraith is a superb bit of kit overall with a good rda, but the tc mode feels like it's only ickong out very low wattage regardless of settings.

So looking at the therion, bit more dosh but leather and rosewood inlays... Also a 'proper' chipset with escribe etc.
You won't get better than a DNA chip for TC, simple as that. I had my eye on the Therion for a long time and the only thing putting me off was the crappy piece of plastic atween battery and squonk bottle, not a deal breaker more of a question why? Lovely piece of kit with good Evolv/DNA backup. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9YCcLDYM9w

Started using a Vape about 3 months ago after having yet a other cigarette relapse .

All is good and I have a son that has one too so he guided me right through the pitfalls of what I really needed .

My real question is have their been any health related issues with vaping either discovered or bring predicted ?

Cheers Steve.

Just off to Goodwood for Sunday Service, will order one as soon as I'm back.

I've loved the yihi sx chip, looking forward to trying out the dna. Will do some reading up on escribe...

Now to find a source for some minty premade tc coils. Have only used regular ni200, fancy trying ss/ti and claptons.

Oh, and need some juice, haven't had any snake oil for a few months after using it exclusively for nearly a year. Just checked the tmax site and he's got a new juice out! 100ml of each should sort me for a while.

I'm currently on v low nicotine intake and the idea is to move onto zero. What a good liquid to get that still feels like it gives the 'hit' on inhale but has no nicotine ?

You may not notice much difference, bit if you do a little higher pg content will increase throat hit a tad.

I like the mini (had three of them) bought my first top tank version in March, liked it so bought another. Still using both today with different juices. One is running a 0.5ohm could at 35w the second with a 1.2ohm at 17w.

I don't use the bottom fill tanks anymore.

The only issue I have with them is finding a coil I like. They changed from a horizontal to a vertical coil design, I find the 1.2ohm vertical coil is a lot tighter than the old 1.2ohm horizontal coil for direct lung hits. Might have to get some 0.5ohm coils for the airflow but they drink juice.

im struggling with the new kangertech after coming from a aspire nautilus

its all about the lung hit rather than lung to mouth which im used to

is that the way forward ? is lung hit how most people vape ?

It's definitely how most people vape now but I have a kabuki clone that takes nautilus/triton coils which I always have on me as well as whatever cloudy vape I like because there's no better nicotine hit/craving destroyer than a decent mouth to lung!

The kanger is not great for it and definitely a beginners straight to lung tank. I use the 0.5ohm NC coils in a subtank which rarely gets used (I have a number of rebuildable tanks that are better) but they're okay

If anyone is after a new tank, I can highly recommend the Aspire Cleito - miles better than any other tank I've used in terms of flavour.

They're a bargain on Amazon at the moment too - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Aspire-Cleito-Airflow-Sub...

I know they are popular, genuinely the worst tank I've had to date. The taste was amazing but it leaked like a sieve, I had to have a stupid bit of plastic on the top to stop it burning my lips and it blew through coils like nothing I've ever seen. It's consigned to the wardrobe.

Try here for some fancy TC coils http://www.m-vapes.co.uk/store/c7/Coil_building_su...

I'd recommend SS fused claptons at £2 each, they'll be superb in either TC or power mode.
