There's a thread about getting adult kids to leave, so much I wanted to say but limited myself, kids today have it so easy it's unbelievable, they have far more disposable income and yet parents let them stay at home for either very little money or in most cases zero money, that and the fact that parents allow them to get away with doing very little around the house, very different from when I was growing up!!!!

Mixing Fiats with water yikes
This particular FIAT takes on a lot of water when it rains hard too...irked

Luckily it lives in a garage at home but when outside on holiday it has been known for me to use a small plastic cup to scoop out the water collected behind the seats.

Watermelons.
It seems to be a description for some of the climate protesters.
I have no idea why.
I think it's something to do with projecting an image of yourself / a political group as one thing but being something completely different / having a different or more sinister agenda under the surface. More specifically I'd say it refers to outright anarchists hiding behind the climate change stuff.

In more cheery news, my back ache has gorn!

She's a good little lass, we're having some chicken & chips later then we're having a bash at some 'Lego Friends'.

Hi bongtom wavey, how's Mrs bongtom?
All good. Five and a half months gone. Quite small bump (but she is Asian) but don’t know sex yet because he/she keeps covering up the bits with a hand during ultrasound. Probably a boy having a fiddle.

She keeps dreaming about “Barang small boy” (barang means French which is what they call all westerners, seeing as the Froggies colonised this area) so I guess we are having a boy.

Cambodians have some weird superstition and ideas;
Was going to move into a new house but found out a ghost lives outside. So we had to find a ghostless house. (Not kidding)

She thought babies came out her belly button. I had to explain periods to her and why some are heavy and irregular. (Had a teen daughter)
No one uses Tampons as it’s seen as “un pure”, especially virgins. All pads.
She wears a safety pin just above her heart on every piece of clothing, even in bed. Says it protects the baby.
Won’t shower at night because “Makes the baby cold”.
After giving birth all women wear woolly hats to stop the wind going into their ears making their brains cold.
They believe EVERYTHING they see on Facebook. I’m forever googling or showing her proof but it’s the thing here now. Very big is FB now. Four years ago hardly anyone had it.
You can’t point at anything religious. You’ve got to use your fist to “point”.

Ahh. But I absolutely love the people and this place. All kids wave and say hello. Everyone smiles, even “cool” teens on “big” 150cc bikes.
It’s like Thailand 30 years ago.

Plus every third female is smoking hot and will always smile.
(But they all wear “safety shorts” under their skirts which are usually over some other shorts and probably two pairs of knickers just to be safe (females are very conservative and prudish unlike Viets and Thais). Apart from the bargirls or older bargirls/40+ yo who’ve previously been married. Tattoos is a dead giveaway.)

Hello everyone. You all seem very busy and all that.

Peri I've been to Venice twice and no matter what people say about the tourist trap bit it's still wonderfull.

Today we had a freshly slaughtered lamb delivered from our farmer neighbor so Madam Magoo is busy cutting it all up into the various joints chops etc
It's driving poor Mavis crackers to be fair but she's getting a few scraps.

I'm waiting for permission to fire up the plancher!

Mmm yam yam!
