That's good news about Mrs Bobbers. I have a pal with one of them there hernias and its plagued him for over 20 years. Not nice.

Mmm Chinese takeaway, just another thing of the past for me. The nearest is about 40 odd klm away!

Madam Magoo's done a good job of the lamb. That you tube has its uses.

All paid for in ready's.

It's a very positive thing about living here in that if you are prepared to get stuck in then most meat is availiable within a few villages.

We are at a point now that another freezer is becoming a reality.

Tin Tin says the logs are being delivered on Saturday. So that's me stacking them again. It's sort of a nice feeling really.

Yes,I don't remember where it is,Yorkshire ?..... But there's a chippy that somehow has got worldwide fame and now coach loads of tourists turn up daily.
Food is apparently acceptable to consume.
Nom.
If it's the one i think it is, then it will be The Magpie Cafe in Whitby and this is all down to Rick Stein saying it had the best fish and chips in the area. There are signs up saying do not block the pavement but do the tourists listen? Do they heck as like.

I much prefer Trenchers, it's just as good and the staff are more professional and courteous.

I'm watching stuff crash, cars go fast, people fall over and dogs act silly, it's important, educational, character building viewing!!!
Now then, more importantly, should i stop at the large glass of wine i've had or move onto a nice wee dram???

Yes, but more importantly, I've just made a mug of tea without a tea bag. This, it turns out, is a fundamental oversight. It's thin. It's a bit like a cuppa from a busy stall where they put the milk in first and don't let it brew, but even thinner.

I can see that being a bit of a problem, have you considered adding a spoonful of coffee to liven it up? Maybe some sugar? A wee tot of something???

I have to confess I did the very same a couple of nights ago.

I didn't report it at the time as I was afraid it may have been a sign of old age. It's certainly not one of the first signs of lunacy, I've had that more or less since birth jester

Speaking of lunacy, I've got to take the son in law's Yamaha R1 in for a service this morning. See if I can manage that without any catastrophic mishaps.

Mind, I've been managing okay on the old 'Blade for the past few weeks so I should be alright. An old friend lives not far from the garage so I'll have a wander over and see him. He's a similar age to me so hopefully he'll be able to furnish us with a nice brew and some biscuits without comprehensively buggering it up.

scratchchin Tea-free tea could be a money-spinner in the hectic hurly-burly rush of busy modern living for those on the go.
Saving precious time and energy, as well as taking up less storage space, it's win-win all round.
No squeezing of messy drippy teabags, no waste, less wear and tear on teaspoons, thus extending their life and service intervals...

And you could market a whole range of types of tea-free tea:
Nolong
Nahjeeling
Lapsang Soogone
De-uncaffeinated
Un-decaffeinated
No shades of Earl Grey

Think of the potential! bounce

And there must be a huge market for Tea-free Oil.

This time next year Dicky, we could be miwionnaires. cloud9
