Someone a while back asked about the new Air Max DN colourways, well Nike are bringing out quite a wide selection now.

Won't be everyone's cup of tea but for £45, I couldn't say no.

Got these coming from Awake

Nice. I'm actually weighing up buying another pair of air ship.

The decision is either : A Ma Maniere or every game diffused blue.

I might throw up a few pictures later on.

Not much to dislike there. Nice.

Apparently I have a priority access to the A Ma Maniere raffle for the white and green air ships. I don’t know if that makes a difference… I’m not going for them though.
I’ll enter for you if you’re happy to pay all costs, adds up getting them from US…

Off to New York in June - any recommendations for stores to hit for trainers?

Agreed.

I've always liked the TRX Vintage.

Thanks for the offer. I was going to pass on those I think. Which do we think of the two?

A Ma Maniere: A bit plain with an aged midsole. Probably one of the more affordable A Ma Maniere shoes although i'm not the biggest hype beast.

Every game: A bit more of an interesting shoe with some nice details. It has the cracked / aged leather like the J1 Lost & Found.

Annoyingly I can't see the ones in the middle (pink fade ones) listed anywhere.

The fade one is called All Day HQ3732-501, perhaps it’s not a UK/EU release?

I returned the Air Jordan 2 and Air Force 1s I bought a few pages back. The AJ2 didn't look nice in the flesh and the AF1 wasn't very comfortable. I wasn't too sure about the coconut colour of the AF1 when I saw it.

This leaves me with three very similar Reeboks. Glide Ripple Clip, Club C Revenge and Classic.

The Glide feels plush, but I don't like how wide the tongue looks when I'm wearing it. The Club C Revenge is nice and actually looks nicest in the photos, but I think the Classic with the gold trim just pips it when you see it on.

Depends what you want them for. Of the three, I'd go for club c.

Classic for me yes

Having said that, I think the laces on the Glides don't do it any favours at all. Do an experiment - put the laces from one of the other pairs on the Glides.

If you do that, I suspect your misgivings about the tongue will go away.

I'd have the Classic or the Club C Revenge personally. If you don't have anything like either pair already, I'd almost suggest keeping both if they weren't in the same colours. I'd probably change the Club C Revenge for either a different colour or the standard Club C (the Revenge is seemingly the same shoe with side-stripes). The basic Club C in white with green details ( on the Reebok website ) look like they'd be infinitely wearable in much the same way as a Stan Smith.

I stupidly joined the Adidas Trainers Facebook group the other day, so now have a pair of Gazelle 'Blackburns' arriving in the next few days:

I just tried them on again in the light of day and I'm still with the Classics. As has been suggested above, I think I'll get some Club Cs in a different colour, probably Revenges as I was looking for something with vibrant green or orange trim to keep as an alternative to wearing the understated maroon ones.

Changing the laces on the Glides would help, but the laced area is wider than the Classics if you take a tape measure to it. I think the proportions might look better in bigger sizes, rather than the size 8 that I wear. Saying that, If you want a soft and plush feeling trainer, then the Glides are probably the most comfortable thing I've ever had on my feet.

If anyone is interested, this is the difference between the women's and men's Club C Revenge. The woman's is noticeably slimmer in appearance, even more so in the flesh than the photos suggest.

I could have a billion quid in cash sitting in my bank account and it wouldn't cross my mind to spend anything over 3 figures and above on a t shirt. Just not my thing at all.
Zuckerbergs T Shirts are a relatively reasonable £340 a go.

Moreover if you watch Billions or Succession the characters are obviously minted and their outfits are full of no logo, high quality material items which only the truly wealthy will notice.

1000+ Euros for jeans that are seemingly on average almost 30% polyester.

Presumably the price is high because:

I recently got back into Converse (high-tops, not those moon boot things) after a long absence. Forgot how much I love them, the look, the feel, everything. Thinking about it? Do it!
