Do you ever feel like you are the ONLY person left in Britain who engages the handbrake and selects neutral while waiting in a queue or at lights? For the last week I've been commuting across the city and have been blinded by the brake lights of EVERY SINGLE CAR in front of me as they sit there with their foot on the brake.
Yes. Good to know there's at least two of us...Ganglandboss said:
There's a nice, probably two mile stretch of such a road into Northampton which I take great delight in using "out of hours" whilst the utter mongs who either can't read or can't tell the time sit nose-to-tail in the "normal" lane.Tossers.
My HGV2 instructor told us that his company regularly got phone calls from Joe Public complaining that they were "teaching lorry drivers to drive illegally" down the so-called bus lane.

LED brake lights, in the rain
LED lights full stop. Seems to be standard equipment on all German cars now. A good way to ensure people keep the correct distance away from the car in front I guess - go too close and you'll burn your retinas. Cock Womble 7 said:

don't shout about that one too much, I shgave loads of time off my journeys around london
Seeing as you mention "that London", the only time I've seen a "7.5t lane" is on the hill up to Highgate (I think).Handy.

Guilty as charged, M'lud. In my defence, the handbrake on the 7 is "conveniently" located under the dash on the passenger side and is therefore completely impossible to reach when you're all strapped into the harness.
It's either foot on brake or hold it on the clutch; and I know which will work out cheaper in the long run.
Besides, my rear lights are so low they'd only dazzle earthworms.

My car is an auto and my handbrake is temprimental so guilty as charged. Can't say it has ever even vaguely bothered me with other motorists tbh.Cock Womble 7 said:
