I was a little confused by this, page is not mentioned in the actual 404 status code so I thought it was meant to be part of the joke.

My guess is the person who wrote it just didn't know thier status codes very well, seems like it should have been a 503 anyway.
Wouldn't it be a log error? smile

The thing all the conspiracy theorists forget about Kubrick is that if he *had* been tasked with faking the moon landings he would have insisted that they filmed on location. silly

Not a joke per se, but amused me; not seen this one before.

Ditto the name of your first stuffed animal, as I read it as taxidermy rather than cuddly toy.

Almost certainly
I've not looked up what immolate means but it sounds pretty bad

What an odd thing to write. It would have taken less time to google "define: immolate" than to write your post, and would have had the added advantage not making you look ignorant.

As the old saying goes, "It is better than to be thought of as a fool than to open your mouth* and remove any doubt"

Oh it was even worse than I had imagined
Kill or offer as a sacrifice especially by burning.

And the graph for its use shows a steady strong decline in use, until about the 1980s when it starts to rise again.

That graph sums up a lot of my feels about society

I thought my feels about it without knowing would be more amusing and worth sharing.

The saying I am familiar with is he who asks a question is a fool for 5 minutes, he who does not ask a question remains a fool forever.

We don't have enough room in the dictionary for our own word for Schadenfreude or déjà vu but a word for throwing someone out the window?

Bet they didn't use it once in game of thrones.
