Thought it was sped up but the feet walked correct speed! love snakes
Had my corn snake for approx 15 years, it still amazing to watch her eat. And always makes me jump when she strikes her food.

"The “one-stroke” is in quotes as the engine is actually a two stroke (by definition), in that it has two movements (strokes) in its combustion process. Unlike most conventional two-stroke engines, however, the INNengine e-Rex doesn’t burn oil or even use one of those strokes to lubricate or cool itself"

Didn't the Napier Deltic do something very similar but with compression ignition? Far more impressive at generating clag!

Weslake built a number of opposed piston engines for aircraft use. By using high pressure common rail injection with piezo electronic injectors, the issues with unburnt or badly combusted fuel escaping from an opposed piston engine were largely overcome. This is a mock up of their 500hp 'Condor' engine:

Fantastic engine; built dozens of these in my past.

For someone who’s never attended the FOS: does anyone else question the safety of this event? Cars doing 2023 speeds vs 1960/70’s straw bail safety. A car tumbling into the crowd, is the scenario I’m most concerned about.

This year a rear wheel came off a Mk2 Jag going some speed and bounced into the crowd. Two people were injured, thankfully not seriously. Yes, safety is a big issue there.

Only a matter of time, IMO. A tumbling car could easily clear all the hay bales and land in the laps of 200 people.

I agree. A big shunt there could be truly horrific
