Tell us something really trivial about your life (Catch 22)
Discussion
Weeks ago the guvnor sent round an email pointing out that site are treating Easter as normal working days and we should too to support them. Technically rather than emotionally, I mean. We are up to date with work so will probably come in to do very little but drink tea and eat hot cross buns. The guvnor himself has announced he is taking his family away for Easter for a long weekend in a luxury hotel and does not wish to be contacted. Diplomacy is not his strong suit.

17mpg... expensive tax... cheap insurance (go figure
)
All I saw was 4.0 V8
What's the VED on that then? North of £280 a year, surely.![confused](/inc/images/confused.gif)

Another example of why the Dutch government don't want us to drive: The road tax here on a 180bhp Golf GTi would be €180 (£150) per quarter, and on the Disco above it would be €352 (£290) per quarter!
My old V6 Golf is €205 per quarter, but this is balanced out by the motorbike being €20, and the Zastava being free.

The benign strain?So far this morning I have driven three cars. I've taken the grey one out, moved the yellow one and decided to use the purple one for the morning. This afternoon I will be in a black one. And this evening an Italian red. How lovely.

my speech isn't going great.
You're staying at the hotel, aren't you? We were based at the hotel where my eldest step daughter was married and I started my Father of the Bride speech thus:We stayed here last night and I was able to come down early this morning to see how things were going with the room arrangements. The staff seemed surprised to see me. You'd think they'd never seen a man in Buzz Lightyear pajamas before.
Any good?
