I used to fly RC helis - here's a quick video of me on my first go:

Pretty amazing stuff, 90% of people think it's CGI or speeded up. My dad got me a Raptor 30 (or 60)? for Christmas one year, and once built it took less than 5 minutes before it needed several new parts on the first flight : ) even with using the cross stick with balls training gear.

Ubiquiti Amplifi Nvidia mesh home wifi.

I only get 50MBPs at home anyway. And my cheap BT Whole Home works fine, except for the odd bit of buffering on 4k streaming. Clearly those few seconds of inconvenience needed to be rectified with an expensive Mesh solution.

At least I can give the BT system to my mother and set it up at at her home with its rubbish wifi.

Oh, and a Western Digital EX2 NAS. I don't need it for anything but photos. Bought purely because my Mac told me its hard drive is getting full.

I have never used a NAS. I don't think I need to. But it seemed like a good idea at the time (yesterday evening, after some good red wine).

Set the Mac up to use it for Timemachine backups too ?

Will do. One of the reasons this purchase is in this thread is that I bought one with 8TB of storage. Upsold myself after too much Cabernet. Absolutely no use for that ridiculous level of memory.

I had no need for a NAS either, ended up building a server with plex / freenas / pfsense etc all virtualised.. I seem to go a bit overkill on tech, however family are really liking the torrented plex library since were in lockdown!

Same thing happened to a mate of mine who had an air rifle that looked like an Armourlite. Someone clocked him putting it in his car boot and reported him, his car was stopped on the motorway and he found himself face down on the hard shoulder with plod pointing their guns at his head!
When I picked up my replica E11 (Stormtrooper gun) I called in Iceland on the way back home, forgetting I'd got this large replica weapon on the back seat.
Came back to the car and the guy parked next to me was a bit furtive. Spent the whole drive home waiting for lights and sirens. Learned a lesson though, guns go in the boot biggrin

Thread prompted me to dig this out. Must have had it 20+ years. Best not wander down the street with it

I've got a DL44 Nerf that is pretty accurate with a repaint. Still on my 'working on it list'.
My favourite is my DLT-19 Heavy Weapons.

If you're anywhere near Manchester you need RS Propmasters. Probably the best Star Wars prop makers out there and most of their work has direct lineage from the movies.

We PHers are a supremely immature lot. Here's m7 1911 BB gun! Old photo, context irrelevant to this thread (i.e. I can't really explain it!)

Should have explained it was OK, it's impossible to hit anything with it anyway!

It's the juxtaposition, Harry. You probably had some kinda equally incongruous music playing in the background.

At £87 I couldn't resist. Not sure when and where we'll use it though.
I'm really tempted by one of these. We live right by a river, so I'm sure we'd use it at least once!

Can I ask where you got it for that price?
