Please please please tell me there's pictures.
I'll take my life in my hands and try to get a drive-by picture sometime. The Huracan is missing from the Streetview image sadly, but it's a sight to behold.Has lots of artificial grass as well from what I can see on Google Earth, to fully complete the council look.

Anyway, houses on not very pleasant roads/estates that have cars on the drive sticking out like a turd in a punchbowl. There's a cracking one locally, bog standard end of terrace house on the edge of the worst estate in Chelmsford, but with a loft extension, enormous double extension on the side, glass orangery thing on the back, grey cladding, LED downlights under the guttering, every room illuminated with cool blue LED lights. Oh and a Huracan and new BMW X5 on the drive behind some security bollards, complete with a big sign written builder's van.
It's almost as if they have a load of cash to dispose of!
Which estate? I need to see this den of iniquity. It's almost as if they have a load of cash to dispose of!
Voyeurism. Council.

Private housing development includes a play area for use by the residents, in line with planning consent stipulations granted 20 years ago.
People who live on the estate pay an annual maintenance fee, which includes a contribution to the park's upkeep. Sign has been there for ages to say that the park is not open to the general public.
Dopey Councillor is outraged that the owner of private property can stipulate who can use their own property!

"But Cllr Martin said the sign sent out a negative message to children from families who can't afford to live there that they aren't worthy of using the play facilities.
In a post shared on Facebook, she said: “I can't even begin to explain how much this has angered and upset me.
“Every child deserves a safe space to play, regardless of where they live.
“I am aware residents pay a maintenance fee for the upkeep of the play area and open spaces, however that is not the issue here
“The issue is that that sign enforces a feeling on my child that he's not welcome in that area because we can't afford the £300,000 needed to purchase a house there.
“What sort of example does that set to our children, the future of our country, our world?”
Cllr Martin said she believed the rule was unenforceable and would not deter her from taking her son to the play area"
Jesus wept, we're doomed if this is the calibre of individual representing the bottom rungs of democracy.
So by the Councillor's reasoning, those with private swimming pools should be required to open them up for use by those who can't afford their own pools.
My parents live in a private development with an area of parkland that each household pays an annual fee for upkeep/grounds maintenance. There are signs that clearly state that the land is private. During Lockdown, people visited the village and would have picnics on the grounds (sometimes leaving their rubbish behind). These were not village residents, but I guess people/families who wanted some fresh air. Although some of the houses were up in arms, a few (including my mother) were not that concerned - she said people needing a break from 4 walls were welcome to use the part of the park she was paying for. it’s not as if it’s even used by the residents - I doubt any of the homes has less than 1/2 acre to enjoy. Anyway, she now makes a point of taking our boys onto the park to play.... When I was a boy I never played on there. People who live on the estate pay an annual maintenance fee, which includes a contribution to the park's upkeep. Sign has been there for ages to say that the park is not open to the general public.

I saw this earlier on. It was pleasing to see most of the comments saying "It's private land, you don't have a right to use it" or "I'm planning a party, Ill come round and use your house for it." Also the point about excluding poor people was rightly ridiculed. A billionaire could rock up there with their kids and they still wouldn't be allowed in.People who live on the estate pay an annual maintenance fee, which includes a contribution to the park's upkeep. Sign has been there for ages to say that the park is not open to the general public.

Eton uniforms?I get that you've paid a lot for it so naturally you want a receipt, but what have you actually paid for, and what portion of that is showing on the photo with Princess Anne?

If you have to ask why I want a picture of my daughter then I guess you don’t have children?
Anyway, don’t get too excited as we don’t want to look council.

If the one you chose for the mantelpiece is the one in the very, very expensive Princess Anne-loves-my-school uniform, then maybe that's a money-flex?
A bit like going for a slow carrying-carpets walk down the arcade with your Pit Bull Terriers is a status-flex.
(sorry. I love this thread. There are indeed photos of my kids in their school uniform in my house. Mrs Jim put them there. I'd have rather spent the money on Stella and a fk-off enormous weatherproof wifi speaker for the front lawn )
I actually find that with the advent of the smart phone ‘/ digital camera we don’t actually print and frame many pics but buying the school ones means we get a framed pic that we actually display and as she has been there since nursery it gives a nice chronological archive.
Nobody else would know the expense of the school by the picture of her in a school uniform…the local comp doesn’t look a great deal different apart from the comp get away with rolling up their skirts to make them look short.
I hope it is a Bose speaker on the front lawn…paint in the word Bose some the neighbours can see the brand….actually having neighbours is a bit council…let’s say staff.
