Due to how happy I am with the green pair, I’ve now picked up the white ones too.

Bantz aside, did you wear those to the F1 last weekend? If so, were they comfy?

Any dads about? Interested in hearing about your kids shoes! My 8yo is starting to outgrow his Christmas sale rail Jordans.. they were only £45 or so at the time so didn’t think anything of it, but now replacements are looking more like £80 plus I may have shot myself in the foot laugh Are your kids in decent trainers or Sport Direct specials? If he was in them every day I wouldn’t be so bothered, wearing them until they’re worn out is fine, but as he’s in school shoes 5 days a week these are barely broken in..
The Boy is 3 in September.

Lots of NB 574 variants, but a couple of pairs of Saucony too.

Similar to the above though, he's also had several pairs of Adidas Copa Suede from Sports Direct as they slip on the foot really easily thanks to a wide opening.

Yes wore them on one of the 13000 step days. They were comfy for me but bear in mind they’re quite flat.

Sports direct specials. My kids can go through a pair of trainers in 3 months so they are not getting Jordans. My 10 year old is an adult size 7 so things are getting spendy.
My kid is 4.5, as you say at this age have to think of trainers as very disposable (feet growing so quickly plus they get a hard life).

Nike from SD usually. He's not old enough to be interested in 'cool' trainers. Plus he's running around loads so I'll choose models that are more sport orientated/lighter.

Nike have a 25% site wide offer on for members plus, on these, an initial 20% off. Couldn't resist at almost 50% off.

Juniper Trail 2 Goretex.

Just having a moan here, but it annoys me when Nike advertise it as "site wide" and then you realise there are exclusions and there's actually a lot of stuff you can't apply it to. Not exactly site wide is it?! smash

A mix here, some outlet stuff, sale items and Sports Direct specials (that were still £45) for school trainers.

The odd full price pair but it's a rarity, especially as she's now a size 6 and often strays into the adult trainers at vastly higher prices.

We've had a few pairs when she was younger that hardly seemed to see daylight before she grew out of them but thankfully things seemed to have been consistent for a while now.

Yeah, that is disingenuous of them.

Thank you
Light blue ones are a bit skate and "niche". Not quite as crazy as the Curb.
But who can resist a sale.

Same, it's usually the Nike Star runners or Adidas Run Falcons here. I'm delighted if I get 6 months from them.

Not sure if you've seen this, but that's quite a collection: https://rmsothebys.com/auctions/jk24/lots/?utm_sou...
That's an incredible collection, I see it also includes a collection of cars as well. Some exceptional taste on show here.
This just popped up on my Youtube feed - a look round the collection in question:

Set the tone or this gets pricey quickly!

Mine have had whatever they like in the sales. They're consumable and kids wreck trainers. Eldest (14) has a pair of gazelles and a pair of cheap Adidas for kicking about. Youngest (12) got a couple of pairs of Pumas a while ago and they've lasted much better than the New Balance and Nikes that he had before.

They have the option to get more expensive if they want it, but they need to top up the difference with their pocket money to do so but the kids are so tight they don't usually. Once the feet stop growing then fair enough you get more expensive stuff.

Toe box on those Paul Smiths is looking very Adidas Handball Spezial. Quite like them.

Reminds me I've a pair of New Balance x Paul Smith which I really should wear more.
