Does this look like a bomb in the making..........?

To be fair to the cops, I wouldn’t know WTF it was a diagram of either. The general public (i.e. not electricians/engineers) really aren’t going to understand what it is...
In which case the only logical option is to assume it is a bomb and interrogate the owner. rossub said:

1: If it was a bomb i was designing, i doubt i would leave it lying around for people to find....2: is it really that unreasonable to find an electrical drawing inside an electricians van?
Maybe, just maybe an electrical drawing inside an electricians van may relate to an electrical installation, rather than be a bomb.
Surely only a complete moron (who clearly does not have a clue about electrical drawngs) see’s a electrical drawing and immediatly thinks its for a bomb.....

Now surely, anyone with the slightest brain cell can tell, its just a badly drawn diagram of a few contractors...
I have worked with many contractors in my long and varied engineering career, but I've never met any that looked like that. Most of them resembled ordinary people to the untrained eye, but that was only a superficial outward appearance.
Once you got working with them, you soon realised that most were anything but normal!
However, they were still people, not a mess of squiggly lines on a sheet of paper....
No wonder the Fuzz were curious.
And it probably didn't help when they saw your name on the van.

Very good likeness! Definitely not an original Penelope Stopit:
It's too scruffy, untidy, and not enough relays.
Edited to add the 'm to I'm!!
