Yes I'm in scotland but if you are vaguely suited and interested, I would be happy to take a run to see if there's hope, however, send me an email if you are serious.

Could have been, but too far I'm afraid as I'd want my dog to meet him a few times before making a decision.

He looks lovely though, as he's a Collie I'm sure he is very trainable given the time and effort.

Well, thanks to those who replied, and for anyone interested, a new home has been found for Ben, where he seems to be settling in very well with a new family with their own dog, seems to be happy to come back now that he follows the new dog everywhere, he's getting loads more exercise and is far more settled as a result, so seems a good result from my point of view
