The thing that looks wrong to me is the "rivets" that are supposed to hold the saw blade to the wooden handle. They seem to be made from the graphite, but they stick out from the graphite into the wood.

I apologise for trying to expect honesty and integrity from photos posted on the internet.
I don't think there's anything sketchy about these.

The pedastal for the Statue of Liberty is hand carved from a grain of sand...
