Attending The Brassington?
The Inaugural TT Great Buxom Weekend Gathering already has a nickname. It's a must.
Indeed, and so hence forth it shall be known as The Brassington! , please note the single apostrophe!!!!The Inaugural TT Great Buxom Weekend Gathering already has a nickname. It's a must.
Sorry glenrobbo I should have answered your question about where the new site will be, Lee on Solent, a further 4 miles away from home.
Good morrow fellow Trivialities everywhere

I’m going to view a large lake that’s for sale for someone this morning. I shall take my wellies I think.
Next Tuesday is handover day for the land and woodland we are buying so then there’s work to be done. I’m looking forward to it.
And now, ablutions !

Morning you geezers. I have to redecorate the downstairs toilet over the weekend as we’ve been burning too many candles in there as Mrs Hs clients (no sniggering in the back thank you) use it when they visit and we wanted it to smell feminine. Can I get the black smoke staining off? Hell no. I now have streaks across the walls and ceiling.
I’m off this afternoon for a jaunt around the go kart track with a couple of other chaps. Must dig my helmet out.

It must be catching, young Bobbers possibly moving to a new site and our MD signed the contract to buy the new building for our new UK headquarters yesterday.
One year left on the lease on the current building while they carry out a refurb and redesign to make it suitable and off we jolly well go.
Unlike Bobbers though, i currently work 2.5 miles from home and when the company moves, i'll be back to walking distance again, so will be getting my daily steps in.
With regards to The Brassington! - sadly with Her Ladyship currently out of work and family st to deal with, i doubt i will even get away in The Slopesavan this year, never mind a weekend away.
Is sad, is no potato

A day of things today.
Someone was trying car doors in our road at 2am, police called but the scroates had gone.
Meeting today has revealed that the machine shop will be shrinking by around 80% within the next 18 months, which directly affects my role, I've been assured that I will transition and become Bobbette.
Hammo19 played golf, poorly.
And I walked down to meet Mrs Bobbers.

Yesterday I was issued with a lanyard.
What's more, attached to this stylish black and white very PC multi-ethnic lanyard was my Lifeleisure "LIVE WELL, LIVE LIFE" Barcoded Key Card.
A monthly subscription of 25 Squids allows me access to two sessions of mentored physio sessions per week as an extention to my recent hospital cardiac rehab course, plus a personal tailored programme of gym fitness development and heavily discounted unlimited access to any of the local authority's fitness suites, gyms, swimming pools, saunas and sports facilities.
The nearest Lifeleisure Centre to me has such an impressive array of
The usual gym session fee is £10, but for me this will be discounted to just £3.50.
However, I expect a new tailored spangled Spandex leotard won't come cheap. £££
Where do you get yours, Bobbers?

Magoo, when checking out a body of water on behalf of another party, its important that you carefully check out the bottom for any signs of potential leakage. Nobody wants to invest in a leaky bottom.More rain!

Also it's important to ensure that it is not uncluttered with old rusty bike frames, discarded supermarket trollies, dead 2CV's or old Renault Dauphine remains, bodies in weighted sacks, old bald car tyres, unexploded ordnance and ferocious water monsters with razor-sharp teefs. Watch out also for choking pond weed, algael blooms and signs of faecal matter, pollutants due to agricultural run-off or discharge of raw untreated sewage.
The potential clean-up bill could be enormous, even running into several Euros, and you wouldn't want to be held liable for any of that st, would you?
Just be careful mate, OK?
You could send paua down there for a look-see.
Ey Oop, the black binman's just bin, despite the rain.
Top geezer!
Makes yer proud to be British.

Gude Moaneve Happy Trivsters!
Anuvver wettish day here oop norf on this POETS Day.
I am busily formulating a plan for the route of the TT Brassington! Weekend Saturday scenic run out around the glorious Peak District National Park.
I shall be contacting Bobbers by means of the telling-bone later on today to establish a list of priorities and a suitable duration and whether I will be required to precede the convoy on foot whilst waving a red flag.
Consideration must also be given to allow timely stops for the incontinent amongst us.
I have some great ideas for suitable places to regroup to alleviate the monotony.

That's bloody AWESOME!
Kelp forests beware!
I won't make the Brassington meet, sorry money is tight currently.
Interesting news about your restructuring Bobbers.
Ours was that having lost the support dept to the parent company, our CEO has realised how much money it's lost (after 10 years of running it down, it was unnecessary etc) and now is trying to plan his own version that doesn't conflict with what the parent company now does...
So it's another shuffle, another diagram of new department names and positions with no idea where I fit...
Just biding my time really... If I keep quiet they'll forget about me and just keep paying me...

Good morneve, all!
Admin first, so a belated Happy Birthday to Robbopoppetlet, hope it was fun, and best of luck to 404 and Nurse Julie - wishing you a happy ending. Please remember, though, that when your membership to the Trivton Towers Home for the Bewildered was accepted, there was some (very) small print about acceptance being conditional upon retaining all of your parts, and if you're having bits removed, the Committee may need to reconsider.
And the same applies to Bobbers, if he's "transitioning".
ION, I have survived my trip to Costco relatively unscathed, having managed to purchase some bargain "work"* jeans, and resisted the urge to buy a new shower head. Unusually, their petrol/diseasel vending station didn't have a queue when I arrived, so I filled the Golf with 95-Octane at £1.40 per litre, which felt like a result.
Today, being Friday, is allocated to domestic chores, washing, etc. I'll do my best to fit in some steps and watch the F1 Practice sessions from Monaco, as well as Ms Vennells being skewered by Mr Jason Beer KC.
Somebody has to do this stuff.
Hasta la Vista!
