Good morning everyone. I reasonably nice day so far.
Poor Madame M has trudged off to Intermarché to carry out the weekly shop! Agent M continues to snooze in between moaning about me making various household noises.

It’s a ramble in a while then a bit of lunch followed by grass cutting, watching the rugby Euro cup final between Leinster and Toulouse then down to the village for an evening produce market and cook you’re own food etc. Bit of music I expect.

Bon journée tout le monde.

Fout.

Good morrow fellow Trivialities everywherewavey
A busy day of cleaning, bed clothes changing, shopping and eventually BBQing awaits us!!

It would be really nice to meet up with as many as can make it to The Brassington in Buxton next month!!

Sounds like a good time at the kart track hammo19, I haven't been karting for years!!
I'll be backwardsing and forwardsing between Buxom and Altrincham - that's between The Brassington! and Step Daughter #2's house.

Altrincham? No, we're keeping them the same.

Aye, thang yo.

Is sad, no Brassington, is sad.

Still have a virtual pint for anyone who finds the tenuous link and gets photographic proof of said link.

Looking forward to t shirt/hoodie designs

This is what we like to see! Trivialites discussing alcohol of easy virtue and whether they should travel to The Brassington! by kart or by airship.

Morning most, evening Paua

I've awoken to sunshine, it's my turn to do the weekly shop and I also have an eye test.

Nothing else planned for the weekend

Mrs C had a cataract operation ten days ago. They said if she ran out of eye drops to go back for more. The clinic is in Basingstoke, so to make sure I didn't drive over there for nothing, I rang their help line. Yes, all was well, they would email the clinic to say I was on my way.

"Hello, I've come for some drops for my wife. I rang the help line and they said they would email you to say I was coming."
"What name is it?"
"Wendy Cutler."
"You're Wendy Cutler?"
"I suffered terribly at school."

An elderly patient quietly filling in a form at the reception desk burst out laughing. Made it all worthwhile.

And now you have to suffer visiting Basingstoke

And a good Saturday to all.

It looks like I can make some of either the Friday or Saturday of the meet but overnighting might be challenging…

How far are you from Buxton psi310398?
The Friday evening is more of just a meet up for food and drinks, the Saturday will be a drive out and lunch somewhere, followed by a meal and drinks in the evening.

Unfortunately the gyrocopter can't go undercover because the rotor blades would get all tangled in the sheets. frown

For clandestine operations, a better choice would be to utilise a specialist Duvet Diver.

In and out before anybody notices he's bin! yikes

wink

Anyway, whatever happened to the old galvanised steel dustbins of old?
At least they were manufactured in this country and not imported all the way from China.
And they were recyclable, not like these plastic things.
What happens to them when they reach their end-of-life? Eh?
Are they consigned to landfill? And how do we fit them into the non-recyclable waste bin?
They really hadn't thought it through, had they?
Plus they might all be Chinese Communist spies.

Sorry.

Please do carry on.

I have route instructions to compose.
And laundry to hang out. And a battery to charge up. And lunch to do.

Busy bee, me. smile

Aftermorn All coffee (<— decaff)

A thoroughly enjoyable early morning in the sun as boyo had a football tournament. He’s a defender, but today scored his first goal! Chuffed as muck for him smile Four wins and four clean-sheets. Coach told us parents afterwards that other tournaments have asked us not to play. I can understand it to a degree, but it’s a bit off. Still, fun to travel a wee-touch further afield to get some summer footie-fun in!

Might potter in for the local Folk Festival this afternoon, before the storms arrive tomorrow.

Your waiting room tale did make me titter, Dicky hehe

Hope you all have a lovely Saturday! wavey

I've generally found that an axe is better at removing unwanted guests than tweezers.
