Morning all,

What's going on, where is everyone?
There was a disaster at bell ringing this morning and we're all behind.

Good morrow fellow Trivialities everywherewavey
Only just woken up!!
Trying to decide if it's going to stay dry long enough for me to get out on my bike for a ride!!!
Then we're off out for Sunday lunch at a local pub with friends, followed by me catching up with the BTCC later!!!

How did we manage to slide onto page 2?!? Who's turn was it to monitor that?!?

Grandkids awake a lot in the night. Mrs B slept in bed with Grayson. We've popped to the car boot bus as it's dull and overcast it wasn't big today. Still managed to pick up a pair of new Clarks boots for Grayson for £3.

I would like to say a big Thankyou CC, for all the emoticons.
They make PH a much richer and more fulfilling place.
TBH, I can't envisage tarrying here without them to brighten up our mundane day-to-day existence. smile
beer

However, I'm not such a big fan of the Gatso.

Today i will mostly be rolleyes at stroppy step children who have the arse because they want a pet then don't want to look after it, then get the raging hump when it fouls his bed.

Here's a left field idea, bear with me on this as it's a strange concept i know but maybe....just maybe....try looking after your own damn pet then. irked

I wouldn't mind personally, i'd just laugh at him but he's taking it out on his mum and that is a redcard offence.

Thought I'd make an appearance, pleased to see things seem to be holding up quite well with everyone. Good show thumbup

Just noticed this, Dicky. If you go about it the right way old boy, a 50,000 posts and 200 months could be attained on the same day.

A rare 'double', if you will.

Let's face it, it's more than Man City could manage, despite all their money. Not that I'm a Man U fan in any way, shape or form. Just an observation really smile

Morning all.

Careful, Bomma, ISTR that Battert (who is highly superstitious) has jury rigged some sort of a Doomsday device that is triggered in the event that such a double occurs.

Hello chaps!

Long time no post in here. Everyone OK?

Yesterday I serviced my water system. Saved over £400.

Today I'm going to Asda (the big one in Taunton) to change some jeans that I bought.

Yes, yes, jeans from Asda. But they're cheap, do a job and when was the last time you could tell the difference between £17 jeans and a pair north of £100? Not that I'd pay over £100 for jeans anyway.

Toodle Pip!

Oh, I wouldn't worry too much about that, old chap.

He's constructed several of those Doomsday devices, none of them have come to very much.
One did blow a two foot hole clean through the wall of the Small Barn, (which was a step in the right direction, I suppose) but that's about it, really.

Come to think of it, we've done more damage rescuing Bobbers when he got locked in the West Wing cupboard. Took half the bloody roof off, that did.

Not that it was anything to do with me, of course.
I was in the Bell & Leper at the time of the incident, which Frank will attest to. (If I pay him the appropriate fee)

To be fair, Bobbers, it was a pretty thorough test of the effectiveness of your Kevlar-reinforced mankini and shock-resistant helmet.

You wisely avoided my lengthy discourse on the subject. I recognised the possibility a couple of years ago and have been in rigorous training ever since, keeping detailed records of my posting and limiting myself for the last few months to an average of seven (7) posts per day.

Sadly, there are tables of figures to demonstrate all this paperbag

If all goes to plan, I shall unleash my 50,000th post - full of originality, wit and perceptive brilliance - just after midnight on Friday then have a month off so I can glory in my 50,000 in 200 for a month.

You? Keep quiet for a month? Pfft.

Ye of little faith.

Morning All.
Some damn fools are having a half marathon race hereabouts today. I went out in the dreaded Volvosaurus to the Laundromat but couldn't get anywhere near it for sweaty Lycra and badly parked cars, so I gave up and came home.
I might get the pressure washer out later and do the front steps and parking yard.
Nice to see Clockwork Cupcake putting in an appearance.

Hello CC wavey

For those uninitiated, CC needs a lot personal space and if you prod her with a stick you're going to need a very long stick.
But I like her.

I slept. I mean actually slept. I didn’t realise I needed it, but I must have. Mrs SM kindly allowed me my slumber and I finally awakened just after 10:30. On average I’m up around 06:30.

Not sure what to do with a comparatively short day now, particularly not one troubled by the threat of scattered thunderstorms. Perraps a wee soujourn to Tintern? I feel frustrated by days where I don’t feel I’ve achieved something, but maybe I need to simply achieve a rest day today.
