Gold has colour run inhibitors.
How do you figure? It's for whites. There are separate products for coloureds.Vanish Gold Oxi Advance Stain Remover Powder 470G
'From coffee to ketchup, new Vanish Gold Oxi Action powder for colours removes tough stains even in a cold 20°C wash & a quick 30-min cycle!
Its multi-benefit formula also helps prevent colour transfer and removes odours from your wash, whilst giving your laundry a deep hygiene clean!
(who knew we'd be discussing washing powder at this time on a car forum )

People that make a point of calling themselves "foodies".
Oh, you like food. What a coincidence, so do I!
Shut up you pretentious arse.
There's a variant on this.Oh, you like food. What a coincidence, so do I!

Some of the family watch one of those Disney vlogs where a couple wander round various parks and comment, particularly on the food and give it ratings. Personally it usually bores me especially when the family purlointhe TV to watch it.
They'll be wherever, recently Far East trip, Disney in Japan, Hong Kong. They will try something, and to be honest some of it looked amazing, far more appetising than the utter garbage served up by Paris and then they will give it a verdict.
At which point the guy will say something like "Well I'm a connoisseur of bao buns..."
Just F..R..O you twerp.
On the other hand though these two are not as 'special' as some of the other Disney vloggers who are at best borderline irritating tts.

You would be correct if we were talking about vanish gold oxi action stain remover powder for coloureds (clothing not people), but they specifically make a version for whites (clothing not people, but YMMV), which is what I'm referring to. Now if you could cast your RTFM gaze upon the product wording and find me the part that describes the differences, I would be most grateful.
Jesus wept you're right sorry, I give up Never realised there was a version for colours and whites. I agree with you now, I've no idea what the difference is. I'm pretty sure we just use the normal (non-gold) one at home. Only difference I could see was Gold mentions odour removal but it's not clear at all.

Some abbreviations bug the hell out of me. Lappy for laptop, thou for thousand, ambo for ambulance etc. Cretins.
Playing scrabble with my sister in law. Her definition of abbreviation is somewhat different from mine. I understand that mm is not allowed, but quart?
Apparently any word that is a shortened version of any other word is not allowed.
Quart instead of Quarter
Mini instead of minimum
App instead of application.

I sometimes wonder that if I don't make the effort to contact people and arrange things that I might never see them again. Is this just me or do other people experience this?
It does annoy me thats its always me that has to make the first move to get people motivated to meet up.
That's people's polite way of informing you they are not interested in you and don't want you in their lives. Take the hint and get new friends. It does annoy me thats its always me that has to make the first move to get people motivated to meet up.

I was at a party saturday night where we had a similar conversation about mutual friends but with a slight difference of we're arranged to meet up but they don't bother replying to the message thread to decline the invitation. Too bone idle to even politely decline via message wtf!?!It does annoy me thats its always me that has to make the first move to get people motivated to meet up.

and they do the same thing? maybe just top myself and do everyone a favour
I think that is probably a little extreme tbh. But people do 'move on' when they get into relationships/marriage/have kids and those things then become their priorities rather than maintaining childhood friendships because reasons and the inevitable 'drift' happens. Pit Pony said:
