Fancy dress - computer game or cartoon character - go as?
Discussion
Got an invite to go to a fancy dress party as follows:
'Its fancy dress – Gaming Nerds vs Comic Nerds, so you can come as a gaming character, a comic book character or even a nerd'
So, wacky suggestions ahoy and for info it is adults only attendance
P.s the wife has already told me I can't go as a beaten-to-death prostitute from Grand Theft Auto

Get together with 3 or 4 mates (of different heights). All of you dress like Flash and walk one behind the other in height order.
Or go as the Doppler Effect
I know, I know ... I watch way too much BBT!

Some good responses but crap at arts and craft so going to have to buy/rent it.
The guy who's it is is in to computer games hence the party - idea of his wife. Me I'm not fussed just want to not be the 9th Mario there.
Yep, with the wife who is intent on looking like a superhero slut thankfully
I've seen Hitman and that sounds ok - skull cap, black suit, red tie, black gloves barcode on the back of the head - job done.

Seriously, different people have different things in their lives that they enjoy. What's wrong with a bit of harmless geekery for fancy dress? I'd say it was a hell of a lot less sad than the pathetic tribalism of football fans.
