The barge thread participants want to be able to post links to their own cars for sale, which is only allowed if the thread is in the Car Buying forum.
It seemed like an obvious solution rather than continual moderation of the thread in General Gassing.
The ///M thread posters are much more observant of the forum rules and as a result better behaved.
