We've all opened amazon/ebay/aliexpress/younameit after few beers late at night at least once. Any dumb purchases you've made?

I got a Luke Skywalker's lightsaber hilt. We're planning to visit Ireland and go to the island from the final scene of the Force Awakens, my daughter said it would be fun to recreate it for a family photo. I've been looking for that hilt for ages and finally one popped up, so I clicked buy now quickly. I should have checked the scale in the description, it's about 4 inches long...

Today I received a limited edition blu-ray steelbook of a Japanese movie I've been trying to buy for some time now. I had few pints and the price was good, so why bother reading the description. It's an Italian subtitles edition.

Please no! That was just a fabricated bunch of lies and is best forgotten.

This hateful POS. And far too many other stupid things. I'm currently winning on 3 earthware jars. I don't remember bidding on them.

Nothing expensive but late night after a big session in a club in Derby I was walking my way home when I came across a 24h Spar shop... now being a bit fond of a snack I popped in and purchased a couple of flapjacks.

Woke up the following morning having not touched them.... just as well as both were peanut flapjacks and I'm rather allergic to peanuts!

Definitely a dumb purchase!

We bought a cottage and applied (and were successful) to go on a reality "do a house up" tv program.

Last time this thread ran there was a guy who had ended up with one of those mounted, stuffed moose or deer heads. It looked hilarious on his garage wall.
