I swear this thread gets earlier every year...

20.2 in Kinlochewe today. Scotland often sees these early warm temps.

High pressure to linger for much of spring, next week sees temps cranking up a bit down south.

Turned the heating off yesterday.
Was 26 degrees in the living room late afternoon.

For clarity, gets the sun from midday or so and being a warehouse conversion (albeit large rooms) is very well insulated.

What constitutes an "official" thread and why is this one so called?

We have guidelines for when we can start the weather threads. 20 degrees was recorded in Scotland yesterday so it was officially time to 'go go go'

Well, the housing and financial markets are going to collapse, so we can all be "levelled" together. Something to look forward to...

Plus Puggit is the only person allowed to start this and the winter thread. It's in the rules https://www.pistonheads.com/rules-of-posting

It might not actually be in the rules

Someone has to beat me to it - I was a few hours late on this one. Always first on the snow thread - I'm such a child.

Meanwhile Porthmadog 20.7C today and Northolt 20.5

Chesterfield'ish -

A beautiful, sunny but hazy, spring day. Car showed 17c earlier.

Lovely isn’t it

Anyone claiming to still put their heating on either is seriously sick or doesn’t really have any issue with affordability.
