The 2020 summer optimism and BBQ thread!

It's early I know but we need some optimism and I'm sat out in a hammock and I don't even need a jumper.

So tonight I'll spatchcock a chicken and BBQ it with some trimmings from the ape trees for flavour. And then do some stargazing with the kids.

Leg of lamb on and my wife's just made some ice cream! It's amazing what gets done when you can't go out much.

BBQ planned on zoom this weekend. Should have been a riot.

Absolutely gorgeous down here. Should have been kayaking and BBQing with a bunch of friends. Had to make do with a walk and zoom.

Glad that northerly's gone, there's a massive fire in Wareham forest which is making life to the east pretty unbearable. Gorse and pine and no rain for weeks.
