I saw this... http://www.megalaseruk.com/laser02.htm#808nm2 the other day and it immediately struck me that it is one of those things that I have no need for, but my life feels empty without.

Click the link, have a look and tell me what you think, is it worth the money? Anyone got more powerful alternatives etc etc?

Quite fancy an actual laser pen though, its grabbed me and wont let go

So come on, anybody got any recommendations, good websites etc etc?? I want a powerful laser pen (dont know why though?)

Fair enough. is this the website one, the home made one, or a warning about relatively high powered laser pens with no safety legislation whatsoever in general?

After reading a post in the biker banter red lights thread about how the IR flash from emergancy services vehicles changes traffic lights...

could the IR laser pen in my first link be used to change traffic lights, turn off street light etc?
