My wife wants to have a naming ceremony for our Son. Given that this will be a civil matter - I don't do religion - we need some readings or poems.

Someone suggested To my Son by Siegfried Sassoon but I can't find the words anywhere to see whether we like it - can the all wise PH help.

If anyone has any other reading suggestion that would also be helpful.

At the moment we have only one we can agree upon, which Bizarely is by Dr Seuss hehe

Isn't To My Son by Lord Byron?
Siegfried wrote one of the same title. I quite like the Bryon one but it's a little too flowery I think. I check with the O/H.

Thanks.

If you sign up for a free trial here, it will apparently let you see a copy of a book with the poem in it.

I'm going to order the book from the Library. I don't want to get deluged with spam. Thanks for finding the book though - cheers!
